UK-Oz flights with 2 stopovers

Hi all,

Is it possible to get a ticket that would allow me to make two stops en route from the UK to Oz, spending a day or two in each place? I'm not particularly bothered about where the stops are... Dubai and Singapore maybe, but genuinely not too bothered - just looking to break the journey up into something a bit more manageable and do a bit of sightseeing on the way.

TIA

You can take any route you want to get here and a decent travel agent would be able to sort it out, Nigel will probably have some suggestions for you when he gets on here.

I must admit your braver than me I would not fancy making the journey longer by staying in a couple of places overnight . the thought of lugging the suitcases to and from hotels would drive me mad.

Good luck and enjoy your chosen route which ever way you decide to arrive.:jiggy:

You will find that there are quite a few airlines that offer itineraries with stopovers,I can arrange quotes for you if you wish-send me a PM or email.

As regards visas,British citizens can get an "on arrival"visa ,valid for 60 days, for the UAE.

British passport holders do not need a visa to enter Singapore for stays of less than one month, but a 'social visit pass" which is free, and obtainable on arrival, will need to be obtained,to get one of these you need an onwards ticket and sufficient funds for the length of your stay.

You could also consider places like Hong Kong and Malaysia,if you don't mind travelling from Stansted you could fly with Air Asia to Kuala Lumpur ,have a stopover there and then on to the Gold Coast,Melbourne or Perth.

We always fly with Emirates. They are usually the cheapest and depending on the day of the week you can fly UK to Oz with only one stopover in Dubai, or two stopovers (Dubai and Singapore).

Emirates use a number of regional UK airports (at little additional cost) so this can be useful if you don't want to negotiate Heathrow.
