kellyjamie
Hi all, Just about to submit SS to SA and i need someone to answer 2 questions please? 1. Along with my financial Dec and Copy of CV what else do we need to send by post as a hard copy? Should we print off application and include that? I take it stat dec for our son is only for DIAC? 2. Who can witness and sign our financial dec? It says a Notary Public Justice of the Peace or any other Government or official authorised to attest too authenticity and accuracy of information in this pro forma. Can we use a Soliciotor? same one who witnessed our stat dec for taking our son/ Or a Police Officer? Advice much appreciated we want to send this off ASAP Many thanks K&J x:hug:
TraceyT
Hi K & J, Don't know the answer to Q1, but as for Q2, I used the bank clerk to stamp and sign it, at the Skipton Building Society. Our friends used a police officer. So I should imagine a Solicitor is fine too. Hope that helps, Tracey x

Guest Gollywobbler
Hi Kelly SA will not bicker about anything with your solicitor's moniker on it, I assure you. The solicitor may well ask you to prove to him/her that you are going to be able to take the funds you say you will be able to take. kellyjamie
Thanks both. We had a home valuation report done to take to the lawyer so they can see the funds in the house, thanks again
Guest sforbes
Hi Kelly When I submitted my details to SA I also included hard copies of some of the research which I had undertaken. For example I printed out details of recruitment agencies specialising in my line of work and included emails that I had sent to them. I also spoke on my online app about things that Adelaide has to offer - I went on the website for South Australia and printed some stuff off from there - I also spoke about the weather and even printed of average weather for Adelaide spoke about outdoor lifestyle and how the weather sould make that possible etc etc. Hope this helps
kellyjamie
thanks for that. We have addedd all you mentioned about weather lifestyle etc etc, but a good tip is adding the job agency stuff to the hard copy. we put that in the online app but will now add to hard copy also, Many thanks
Guest mikewheble
Hi Kelly We had to send (following from the email sent to us by SA): * Document Cover Sheet – signed and witnessed * Positive Skills Assessment for Nominated Occupation * Copy of IELTS test result, less than two years old (unless principal applicant is a passport holder of the UK, USA, Canada, Ireland or New Zealand) * Copy of Passport details of principal applicant only (Page with Photo, Name, Citizenship, Date of Birth) * Recent Resume of principal applicant * Financial Capacity Pro Forma (notarised by bank/legal/govt official) We had ours signed by a family friend who works as head of social services. Hope this helps Mike
