Dont worry we were 18 weeks waiting so I wreckon you will be getting your SS really soon. I saw that you have been appointed a case officer aswell. Is that good news or does it mean anything significant for you? Suzanne Hi Suzanne We sent off the copies of our passport bio pages for me & our daughter yesterday along with a word copy of the commitment statement and we got a reply this morning thanking us for sending these promptly and that she will finalise our ACT SS asap. The case officer appointed is for our ACT SS not our visa, i wish it was for our visa but I think that is a long way off yet. Hoping tomorrow brings good news. Now we just need to work out how we switch from 176 family to 176 ss with DIAC. Looks like today is gonna be a good day. It is OH's birthday, we both have the day off work and we are going for a scan at the hospital to meet our new little baby who's is due in Jan 2011. My Documents were cleared by DHL & are on the way to the chief ministers office!! Well.... now it's ''sit back have a chilled drink & try to relax'' time to see if i can make it prior to the July 1st deadline. According to the ACT government website they are currently processing applications received on 17 Jan. However, it has said that for the last 2 weeks. Guest toops Posted April 15, 2011 Share Posted April 15, 2011 Hi there, if you look on the 'Live in Canberra' website, there is a link to the processing times for sponsorship applications and it tells you the dates of the applications they are working on at the moment. Guest journeydownunder Posted May 7, 2011 Share Posted May 7, 2011 We submitted on the 14th April, they said they would prioritise our application because I have a job offer and start work on a 457 visa in July but when they sent the confirmation of receipt through it said normal priority so who knows...?!
