Jackboots
:rolleyes:hi all , well we arrived safe and sound , we have moved into our rental in kalamunda , in the hills area of wa , we had a good flight with quantus from heathrow to perth and from changi to perth , could not fault it food good , movies , snack bags etc , my 2 year was so knackered after a 2 hr delay on the way out she was asleep before take off!! and we were escorted through changi airport ... frogmarched more like, as we had held the plane up so on boarding got some grumpy faces looking at us ! not our fault it was the flight at heathrow ... so we arrived in perth early hours and had a nap and got up to pink birds and bright sunshine .. mad first week registering medicare and moving in to house had to go doctors twice arghhh toncillitis and daughter had chest infection , wow nice service there ! so yep its been mad rush . ... husband is really fed up with the shopping lol everything seems to live in shopping centers , like medicare etc .. ha ha food fab , really eating the healthy options now !! bar chocolate ... its fine i got told it's taste would be awfull , hmmmm it does not!! ( sue ozcans if your reading this , the malteesers are fine lol) so all is ok , doggie came out of quarantine yesterday ...,and he looks better than before he went in lol he lost weight ... but he looks fab , byford are brilliant and we used www,dogwalks.com.au karen and the walkers were brill their feedback and photos were a huge relief for us , yes an added expense though we were thrilled as he left 2 and a half weeks before us , so it was like having a pair of eyes there, golden arrows fantastic too! the final invoice this end for quarantine was $773.00 , for anyone wondering .. so now the big thing is work , my oh is a cnc engineer and its not looking hot at the mo , so fingers crossed were sending out cv's asap and some ! , i have applied for my rego to resit my hair exams as this is a must in wa ( will post about this at a later date )... so all in all we love it so far , just work ... yes dim to move in the middle of a reccession i know but we had work arranged and it fell through , so fingers crossed for us all we have 6 months to give this our best shot other wise the andrews will have to head back ! thanks to all the warm wishes we had on here before we left the uk !! xxxx
