Sam12
Hi, I am applying for onshore RRV now (2 years resident). But just confused if I need to apply some Visa for my wife as well. She is currently on my sponsored partner Visa - 6 months onshore now.
VERYSTORMY
Has your wife been granted a visa?
MaggieMay24
Does she hold the temporary or the PR partner visa? If she has the temporary one, she will remain on that until she gets the PR one. If she's in Australia and holds the PR visa such as 100 or 801 visa, then she doesn't need an RRV if she doesn't plan to leave Australia and if the travel rights are still valid. However if the travel rights expire and she wants to be able to leave Australia (and then re-enter), she would need to get an RRV.
Sam12
She is in Australia on 309 visa at the moment and there is no expiry on 309 visa date, stating until PR granted
