Martina
Hi everyone, I've been recently granted my 190 visa, sponsoring state Victoria. I'll be going to Australia soon and can't find specific conditions anywhere, can someone help? I'm well aware of my two years living in Vic obligations, however I have a few questions: 1) when I arrive, I'd like to spend the first 2-3 weeks in NSW with friends before moving to Victoria - would that be an issue? 2) I can't find conditions regarding overseas travel while on the two years obligation. I know for citizenship it can't be more than 3 months a year but not sure how is it for the two years in Victoria? Thank you for your insights.
Marisawright
The important thing is that you make your home in Victoria for two years. That doesn't include holidays. Edited November 25, 2019 by Marisawright
path2aus
As Marisa said, vacations and port of entry does not matter. I arrived in Melbourne as well while my sponsoring state was South Australia.

I've read that they'll send me a questionnaire when I arrive to the country so was just double checking.

I thought three years you need to live there I think for a 190 are two years living in state and one year working there. It may well be different for other visa types
