What are your main reasons to move? (Aside from the weather off course ) We know Glasgow isn’t a London. NSW is where we want to head, both teachers. Why? Hopeful of a far better life than we have here. Certainly, our pay combined would be like having three wages coming in on what we get now. What are the costs like in Sydney compared to Glasgow. Aren’t you afraid of the high cost of living in Sydney compared to where you are now? A very expensive city. I came to Australia from Scotland 38 years ago and have had a great life here. I’m from Glasgow, moved to Dumfries a few years ago so my partner could go to Uni down here, there’s not much in this town at all! Most of the English test was ok, the speaking part wasn’t as straight forward as you’d think. It’s a mixture of taking in and analysing information in a short span of time and speaking as clearly and confidently about it as you can. As you may know, it's a competition not a queue, so although you only need 65 points to apply, it's a waste of time applying unless you can score well over that.
