457 Transfer to new employer

Hi 

I’m in Australia currently on a 457, awaiting PR 190 (submitted August 2017). I’ve potentially found a great permanent role with an organisation willing to take over the sponsorship of my 457.

Has anyone recently transferred their 457 to a new employer that can give me an idea of timelines or a good migration agent who has done this? I want to manage the new employer expectations honestly.

I wouldnt be trying to change at the moment.  The 457 is due to go sometime in March and you may not get the same conditions with the new visa

Go in the 457 visa forum as this question has been answered. Short answer: you can transfer over with your current conditions and be eligible for PR. Might be worth a few calls RMAs and a few $ to make sure though.

Hi you still can change your nomination if you have a valid 457 visa, i will advise to ring (Mark Bridge from Australian immigration group), i have recently changes and it was was granted next day of application lodgement.
