As our occupation is not on the new CSL (wheras it was once on the MODL) i think its safe to say it will be late late late into 2009 before we hear anything. its not so bad in that at least we know we're not considered a priority anymore and at least we know where we stand (and we can plan now for staying here for 2009). but still a bummer. hey ho. Guest Lissa Posted December 22, 2008 Share Posted December 22, 2008 I applied for a 175 via paper application in Jan 2008. Got visa granted 18 Dec 2008. Did not hear a thing from immigration until September, when I queried lack of application 'acknowledgement' from them. Then within a month, I got a case officer (who was very helpful), Police checks and medicals done in Nov 08, Visa granted 18 Dec 08 - WOOHOO!!! Don't particularly want to go to work today, however looking forward to a good drink this evening. A summary of the final phases:- Case officer requester PCC's and Meds on 15/10/08 to be received by 24/12/08. Meds and PCC's received in Oz 23/12/08. Meds finalised 17/01/09.
