Now i am just hoping that not many people have applied for there visa in the month of oct so that they can process my file. I am hopein another month for my result. So what is you time line?? Ā I got an email on Saturday notifying me that the status of my application has changed. Visa was granted. Ā My timeline Ā Ā Nomination & Visa application sent 16th October 2014 Visa Granted - 28th Feb 2015 (just over 4.5 mths) Not sure when the nomination was approved. MaggieMay24 Posted March 2, 2015 Share Posted March 2, 2015 Hey mate,Ā You can apply for your visa and Nomination, and give your ielts after it coz you wont need ielts for nomination and to get a case officer in your case will take atleast 3months otherwise your CA will ask for it and will give you more 28days to submit it, so should have it then otherwise it will be cancelled. I think they are processing visa applications from late oct dates. i think 1-1.5months for both of us. Or maybe within this week for so. Its now a luck game as well i think. Ā You can only know about your processing center when you have been allocated a CA. So till the time you dont get your CA you wont be able to know about it. If you can't prove functional English for dependents then you have to pay a significant amount of money. http://www.immi.gov.au/Visas/Pages/checklists/187-applicant.aspx Ā You must provide proof that your partner has functional english. Ā Ā An International English Language Testing System (IELTS) test result of an average band score of at least 4.5 based on the four test components of speaking, reading, listening and writing. Your test must have been completed within 12 months of visa application lodgement or can be completed during visa application processing. Ā If your partner cannot achieve this score, there are other ways to prove functional English.
