Looks like they are processing till June 2017 now? No one understands their logic...

This just doesn't make any sense anymore as they keep changing the up to month but April 2016 stays the same for almost over a year now.... so depressing and frustrating for all of us , specially the ones who've been waiting longer than 15 months with not even a file allocation yet .....and the wurst part is they still say u will have to wait with no specific timeframe given about the wait . ....[emoji37][emoji37][emoji37]

Two of my knowns nominations has been rejected after 12months of wait. 186trt restaurant manger and cook on same work place. Case officer rejected both files within gape of minutes. Reason was not attaching trying plans of benchmarking with it. They appealed. I request u all make sure u have attached all documents with nomination at least.

My employer called immi 4 times but of no use.
My MA sent an email to immi last week explaining the urgency of my position and also attached the project schedule document to it.
He received the reply today as below:
“We have considered your priority request based on the information you have provided. Your request for priority processing has been declined. The ENS/RSMS business area processes visa applications in order of date of lodgment.

I am sure you can appreciate, most applications come with their own unique set of circumstances and are often lodged with claims of urgency. Please trust that we are also eager to progress your application as quickly as possible”.

So with this I came to a conclusion that it is totally waste of time emailing them or contacting them. They just do what they like and don’t bother about anyone.
We are reaching 13 months now. Hoping to hear some good news soon.

One of my friend's friend applied 186trt this Jan 17 as a hairdresser. Received visa recently. I think it is all depends on attached documents on nomination lodgement time. My MA told me he attached all documents with lodgement time. But truth is he lied. He attached declaration forms, 80 forms recently when I told him many times. So I am suffering bcz of his mistakes. Some of them so mean who don't care even after we paid them.

Sorry but that doesn’t makes sense for me as we front loaded all the documents including form 80. My employer uploaded the recent docs for nomination and I renewed my PCC as well but still our file remained untouched.

I had mine rejected after 9 months too. My lawyer messed it up and didn't put all the correct form with the nomination.  Applied in August 2016 then got rejected in April 2017. Got new application in may 2017. Such a long wait

Hello guys,
I would like to have your opinion..
I applied for PR as marketing specialist in June. (TRT)
I initially wanted to apply under the direct entry stream but I got a negative assessment from vetassess. So I applied through TRT because no skills assessment is required (To keep it simple, they have considered that my experience was not aligned..)
Do you think there's any risk for the TRT?

Thanks

Hi, As long as you are on a 457 visa and have had two years continuous employment with your current employer in your current role. If so then no issue. I have listed the criteria below.

  • You might be able to get this visa under the Temporary Residence Transition stream if you:
  • hold a Temporary Work (Skilled) visa (subclass 457)
  • have at least competent English (unless you are exempt from this requirement)
  • worked for at least two out of the previous three years (before the nomination is made) in the same position your employer nominated you for while you held your subclass 457 visa as the primary visa holder, your employer has nominated you for a permanent position under this stream, and the nomination has been approved.

Your skills do not need to be assessed because you have already worked for your nominating employer for two years in Australia.
