( most cases when CO ask for more documents in meantime he start looking other files when he get free tym then review ur file again and give decision) Yeah - we originally sent the short versions of the kids birth certs, but they asked for unabridged versions which showed parents names. We turned the request round in less than 24 hrs but I'm thinking our case probably got "buried" and haven't reappeared at the top of the pile yet. I heard it is some travelling document Form 80 is not always required but it's wise to have it ready in case you are asked for it. We submitted ours anyway when we lodged our visa. My timeline: Nomination and Visa (Direct Entry) submitted on December 23 2014 with MA; Nomination approved - May 2 2015; Further documents requested - May 2 2015.
