Hi, is anyone here can give info on how to know if re-entry ban applies on our immigration status, we haven’t receive any response to the department regarding this matter,

Any info would be much appreciated

Thank you

What do you mean? You haven't said anything about yourself and this is your first post, I am sure nobody would know whether you have a ban or not.

The information will be contained on the original decision letter you received from the Immigration Department.

Are you onshore or offshore? What is your situation? In addition to your decision letter as Raul states, if you are unsure and in Australia, you could check your VEVO (Visa Entitlement Verification Online) Account. https://www.border.gov.au/Busi/Visa to determine your current status. Then once you know your status, whether you have a re-entry ban can be determined.

If VEVO just shows that one has no current visa, how can one work out from that whether a ban is in place or not?

Present yourself to Border Force, If they lock you up in detention then you can safely assume your banned.

LOL I'm hoping the agent who wrote the post wouldn't be suggesting that!

You wouldn't get as far as Australia cos you'd be denied boarding for not having a visa, as if you were banned no visa would be granted. But bearing in mind the cost of visas it would be good to know how an agent suggests someone checks if they are banned.
