Kirsty - you can apply for an HAP ID (health declaration ID) from DIBP in advance of a visa invite if you want to try and speed things up... That's what I did.... When you fill in your Visa application (post invite) you enter these HAP ID codes and it links to your Medicals.... worth doing if time is short....
