I came to Australia not the other way round I guess the way they drive here as been happening for many years I have to adapt to Australia to enjoy my life here That doesn't mean I agree with everything But my life in Australia is fantastic and it'll do for me Australia aint perfect but is anywhere else
Bound4Tassie
Thank goodness we're off to little old Tassie where it's quiet and people are mostly polite drivers. My husband has always detested driving in the UK.

This is true anywhere and certainly in the UK. But the lack of volume of traffic in Tas is refreshing. The roads are comparatively empty to what we are accustomed to in the UK. JockinTas
True enough - bit like the wilds of Scotland. There was a really bad traffic accident yesterday as I was driving to Burnie and all the traffic had to make a 12 mile detour. One of the drivers was killed - speeding was the cause. Even really old people here drive far too fast.
