rammygirl
She doesn't need a visa she is a British citizen by descent. You can apply for a British passport for her now.
Quoll
Yes get her passport now - much less hassle at the border when they will want to restrict her to a 6 month visit with no benefits/services etc.
darkstone1975
I believe you can do it without passport, just birth certificate at the border is sufficient.. no visa required. but as others have said and what I have done is get kids their passports. simple and took me only 2 weeks from moment I put it in the post till I got back through my letter box

Really I read you have to renew both British and oz passports when children turn 5 yrs old no matter when their passports previous were issued ? NickyNook
Really I read you have to renew both British and oz passports when children turn 5 yrs old no matter when their passports previous were issued ? No. That's nonsense. Children's passports are valid for 5 years from the time they are issued. This applies to both the UK and Australian child passports.
