Lemon ginger
Also is it possible to contact the case officer directly?
Thomasowen
my understanding is that in order to gain PR through 186 ENS (nomination), you have to be on a 457 and be working for the company that is lodging the nomination for 2 years. I could be wrong but this would mean that company A could successfully nominate you, but company B could not
rammygirl
Depends can be either but different streams. After two years it is transition stream if never worked there direct stream but will need a skill assessment

MaggieMay24
I assume when you submitted your application, you provided the TRN of Company B's nomination? It seems they have linked your application to Company A's nomination. If this isn't how you submitted your application, I'd respond back to the email you received. rammygirl
Second that, simply reply to the email and explain simply. Make it clear which nomination you need to be linked to. probably just a mix up. Let us know what happens.
Lemon ginger
I called them this morning. Both companys withdrew the nomination - GREAT!!!!. Apparently company B put in a 457 instead. so now I have to apply for 189. thank god I got an invite today.

Lemon ginger
Wow. Nice of them to let you know! Lucky I have the 189 backup. don't know I can get a refund for the 186 im feeling so broke
MaggieMay24
No, you won't get a refund unfortunately. They also won't get a refund for the withdrawn nomination so it's unfortunate they didn't discuss and plan this with you better. Perhaps something to keep in mind with regards to the type of employer they may be.
