pattern
Not that it makes a difference, but I received a positive outcome of my VETASSESS assessment yesterday... it took them 13 weeks to complete it

mikeyd
I'd say there's still a few weeks until August applications see a CO looking at their stuff. The June applicants are all getting theirs accepted by now so around 10-13 weeks generally seems the time it takes

Jack91
August people going by what everyone else has done Direct Grants could be 2/3rd week in November. Depends. Waiting is annoying huh! See signature.
seasheLL95
Really? That's not too bad I suppose. Yes waiting certainly is the worst part. I called immigration a few weeks ago and apparently it's not just one case officer that looks at each application. They are passed around a few case officers first. I called immigration a few weeks ago and apparently it's not just one case officer that looks at each application. They are passed around a few case officers first. I am under the impression that there is a person who looks at each part of the visa application. One for qualifications, one checking employment etc. As to how close to the truth that is I am unsure. There are clearly lots of "teams" who are assigned to each invitation. Some people haven't even been notified they've got a case officer but have received a grant so it's a little vague throughout the entire process! globetrotters2014
I agree. We submitted ours on the 8th August 2014, and we have everything- medicals, etc. So hopefully the CO allocated will see it to be good. Fingers crossed. Kev Bennett
Hi my wife and I lodged our visa in August with the help of an agent, we have our police checks and medical done, but still waiting on a case officer. I think it's been about 7 weeks. We've waited two years to get to this point so a few more weeks won't make much of a difference. Hoping to be out in Melbourne by early jan 2015. seasheLL95
Yea a couple more weeks isn't that long to wait considering you stayed 2 years ago. We've been in perth for 3 years already on different visas so hopefully this is the last time we have to apply for a visa!
aetguy1982
From the looks of it they have started issuing visas for july applicants with great speed ....I am sure the wait is not long now , before one of us is given the grants.....keeping my fingers crossed... godisgreat4all
Hi I have an urgent question, I used an immigration agent to lodge my application. I lodged my application on 17th Sept. I came to know today that the reference letter that they have attached is the old one not the one that we have sent to ACS for approval. That is a wrong one. What to do? Shall I upload the correct one now before CO gets assigned? Please suggest, please help.
seasheLL95
Upload the proper reference and a stat dec explaining what happened. Should be fine.

I applied on 17th August-- onshore application. What does this onshore and offshore mean? I have applied online from India. So does it make my application offshore?
