I find it easiest to click the little picture icon (hover over them and it should say ‘insert image’ -it's Square shaped) You can chose to use an from your computer or from a URL (a website – so if you want to link to a pic somewhere on a photo website for example) Assuming it’s on your computer...click Basic Uploader. That opens a window, so click Browse to go find your file and select it. You can only use files with the extension jpg jpeg png or gif. Then click Upload...it should appear in your post. Mine just did...our wet dog in the rain! If it's a big file it may take a bit of time on a home ADSL connection (uploading is slower than downloading...)
