StevelandWonder
Right, I have just moved into my unfurnished house and after a day of building furniture thought I would put the tv on, but I can't. From what I can see I have wires coming out of the wall relating to foxtel but they don't fit into the tv as the have different connectors Do I need to sign up with them. Is there a way to get only free to air television. I might be being stupid as it been a long day. any help appreciated as the kids are going to be disappointed tomorrow morning. blossom
Is your tv digital? If so, you should just need an areal (sp?).
Tickled Pink
No need to sign up to Foxel or anything. Those leads are just left over from the people before you that prob had that installed. You just need to find the ariel point/cable.
Sammy1
If there is not a cable, then you can buy one for a few dollars. If your tv is not digital, then you will also need a digital box.
StevelandWonder
Thanks for the replies. One more question though. There is no outlet like in the UK where you plug the cable into, the all look like something you screw something onto. Is that just the way it is here. I can't see an Ariel on the roof either. blossom
Your house might not have one. Mine doesn't. But we got foxtel so didn't need one. Until then we had to use one if those indoor ones.
