Guest Gollywobbler
Hi Aldo In a macabre sort of way, it is rather beautiful. Smashing colours. How big are they and are they poisonous? Cheers Gill
Quoll
Hi Aldo In a macabre sort of way, it is rather beautiful. Smashing colours. How big are they and are they poisonous? Cheers Gill Yup, deadly. Although there is an anti venom available. In warm weather they move pretty quick and you wouldnt want to stand on one basking in the sunshine. Up to 1.5 metres long apparently although the ones I have seen have been only about 1m.

Guest fatpom
Hi Aldo In a macabre sort of way, it is rather beautiful. Smashing colours. How big are they and are they poisonous? Cheers Gill They're said to be very docile and you have to do something like step on them to get them to bite. For some reason they find being stepped on threatening? They can also have yellow bellies (maybe other colours too?). They are a beautiful beast aren't they - quite common in the Sydney area. Had one living under a work bench where I worked, no-one told me about it until much later. Pity! I'd have loved to have seen it.
