Can you contact your lawyer to check the status? Try not to worry as the official time is still 12-19 months, but your lawyer should be able to tell you whether the application status has changed and answer any questions.

Thanks! It's nice to know it's not just me. Seemed like all the August nomination approvals on here went to visa decision in September & October, I thought I must be the only one left!

Hi Maria, what processing centre was on your nomination approval please? Looks like you are similar timeline to me, 186DE, nomination approved same week as you but haven't heard anything since I'm NSW PESE.

DE was previously 18-20 months, so the new wait of 12-19 months is a decrease. A few months back it was 11-15 months, so it fluctuates quite a bit.

Does anyone know what an "open" processing status means. It is not listed on the immi website as a status.

No, most of my experience is overseas. 1 year with current employer.

Oh, you mean is it my current employer? Yes, I already work at the sponsoring employer. About 2 months since nomination was approved and no news.

I'm exactly the same. Completely came to terms with 15-18 months, but then the nomination came through, and I thought that meant the whole thing would be decided. So hard to convince myself to go back to the old way of thinking about it!
