That sounds like a long time without any contact compared to most. What does your immi account say?

If you've received any correspondence from the CO, it'll be at the bottom of the page (eg. mine was on a request for further information)

I honestly don't know what we did wrong... I keep checking on here in the hope that at least someone got a visa, even if I didn't!

What processing team? I'm NSW PESE. No requests either for me, but think we have provided all documents already. MA said probably no more than a few months from nomination to visa decision.

Ah no! Have you heard anything at all since? Requests or anything? My nom was approved in August - I know not very long compared to yours - but I'm really hoping to hear something this month!

Hi friends, hope you're feeling positive today. I can see some folks with nominations back in March/April on the spreadsheet, with no apparent updates since then. Is this you? Has it really been 6 months without a peep?

Hi, did you get your visa yet? Fellow accountant here, my nomination was approved in August but timeline seems to be slower for accountants than anyone else?!

Don't let it get you down. My nomination was approved the same week as yours and still no visa. If you look at the spreadsheet, they are mostly taking 2-3 months, so I'm trying not to stress at least until 3 months is up. Don't pay attention to any in the spreadsheet that are approved the same week as the nomination, as those are cases where the visa and nomination were decided together. Ours are being done separately, so most of those sort seem to be around the 2/3 month mark. There also seem to be lots approved with recently expired police certs etc. so you may not even need new documents! Hang in there, Jerita ✌

I thought the whole point of this forum was to drive ourselves mad comparing to others at least stressing on here spares my family and friends from some of the madness!

My understanding is that the ones where the nomination and visa are approved within the same week, are ones where the nomination and visa are being assessed together. Yours sounds the same as mine, they are being assessed separately, in which case it's more like a few months based on the spreadsheet. Some were previously taking longer (like 6/7 months) but recently it's more like 2-3 months I think. That's so annoying that your documents expiring!

I don't think that's the reason, the Accountants I'm referring to in the spreadsheet are about half and half TRT and DE. Eg. There's a TRT Accountant with nomination approved back in March and still no Visa. It seems like the only Accountants who have been granted visas are those where nomination and visa application were assessed together... those where it's assessed separately, none of the visas seem to have been done. There's even one with nomination approved in January 2019, and no visa. 8 months seems a very long time between nomination approval and visa grant, and not at all in keeping with the rest of the spreadsheet! Is there a way to check what professions will take longer? eg. DIBP allocations?

Hi everyone, Accountant for 186 DE here. My MA told me that usually the time frame for visa decision, once nomination is approved, tends to be no longer than a few months. But looking at the spreadsheet I can see several accountants with nominations approved back in March, April, and June, none with visas granted. Is there an extra delay for accountants? I thought once the nomination was approved, that means you're essentially in the next stage of processing, so it would be similar time frames for all professions? I'm really hoping that perhaps the accountants just haven't updated the spreadsheet...
