  1. Hi Joane, Your bridging visa will become active only once you applied for the 189 visa application and your current 457 visa will expire and a decision will be made in regards to the 189 application.. I am sure you are aware that you need to apply for the 189 visa (after receiving an invitation to apply) before your current 457 will expire or any other substantive visa that you would hold while receiving the invitation to apply for the 189 visa. 2. Hi Biffa, It looks like you have a new nomination approval for a new employer, but you would like to stay with your current employer. A TSS visa has a 8607 condition which specifically says you should work "in a position in the business who nominated them in their most recently approved nomination" It means you would have to get a new nomination approval for the current employer if you don't want to breach the 8607 condition. 3. Hi Iaady, You can apply for 186 or 187 visas under the direct entry stream as long as you hold a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. (besides other criteria like skills assessment and relent English level) In your case, if you decide to change your current employer, unless you hold a previous overseas relevant experience - you wouldn't meet the three years criteria. . 4. Hi Simon, I think you should have a look at the Vetassess stage II assessment guides to read the type of questions you will be asked on the stage 2 assessment. https://www.vetassess.com.au/skills-assessment-for-migration/trade-occupations/guides-and-fact-sheets Good luck, Moran Shultz Registered Migration Agent MARN 1795282
  5. Hi Anup, If you held a 457 visa before 18 April 2017 and worked for your employer for 24 months (paid work only-no unpaid leave) you should be eligible to apply for the 186 TRT stream with the same employer. I assume your 457 was granted for 4 years so you can apply for the 186 TRT once you are eligible without the need to wait for the 457 visa to expire. If you need help yo apply for the 186 TRT visa you are welcome to contact me. Moran Shultz Registered Migration Agent 1795282
  6. Hi TooEasy, a 651 visa doesn't have any working rights option. Once submitting the 485 visa and your 651 visa expires, you will move to a bridging visa that will inherit the same visa conditions as the original one. What I am trying to say is that you can apply to change the visa condition but, unless you can prove that you are suffering from financial hardship while holding the bridging, visa this condition will be kept and you wont be able to work until a decision is made in regards to the 485 visa. 7. Hi Marc, These are the eligibility criteria for citizenship. At the time you apply you must have been: • living in Australia on a valid visa for the past 4 years • a permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen for the past 12 months • away from Australia for no more than 12 months in total in the past 4 years, including no more than 90 days in total in the past 12 months. Assuming you can tick all these criteria - you should be fine. You do need to be in Australia when submitting the citizenship application as well as when it will be decided. I would recommend you to inform the Department before you are travelling overseas while your application is being processed or while you are waiting for your ceremony. In most cases, they won’t approve your application while you are outside Australia. You can look at this link to see the processing time of a citizenship application to have an idea of how long it usually takes them to process these applications. https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/citizenship/citizenship-processing-times You must travel on your current passport and make sure you have a valid visa that allows you to return to Australia or apply for a Resident Return visa. Enjoy your trip, Moran Shultz Registered Migration Agent 1795282
  8. Hello, It is your responsibility to update the EOI, if your status changes/ update your PY etc. You can access your EOI and update your information at any time. It is also your responsibility to ensure you do not provide any incorrect, false or misleading information on your EOI. If you do provide inaccurate, false or misleading information on your EOI, your application might be refused. Once you receive an invitation to lodge a visa application, You can't update your EOI. I am not sure if you know but, there is an invitation round once a month at the 11th, make sure you update every change once it is happening, I don't see any need to apply for a new EOI. (you are already in the queue). Good luck, Moran Shultz, Migration Agent

  10. Maybe you need to improve your reading skills because the name is Moran.
  11. I agree that the processing time is very very long but I don't think it is actually 30 years. There is always the contributory options. My point was to explain that when a person apply for a visa with such a long processing time, it does need to think about all the consequences. I agree that it can be vert risky from many reasons but it is up to the applicant to eventually make the decision based on his specify circumstances.
  12. I would suggest keeping this information out of your declarations. When I am helping clients with their statutory declaration, we write about the first date and the developments of the meetings without getting into the intimate details. If you moved in together, you should specify the date, but otherwise, I don't think the officer needs to know this information. for example- details about your mutual trips, places you like to visit, holidays, mutual friends, if and when you met each others family members are impotent. As long as it is all correct and synchronises with the two declarations... Good luck, Moran Shultz Migration Agent 1795282
  13. Hi Madhu, According to Skillselect - your occupation needs at least 75 points to be picked. So you are good with the points. Last selection under this group was in October 2018. I know that applications are active in Skillselect for 2 years only. If you applied on June 2016- I would check if your application if still active.... Good luck, Moran Shultz Migration Agent 1795282
  14. Hello, I can tell you that last year a client received her Aged parent visa after being 10 years in the queue. You should also consider that they will have to pass a medical examination closer to the grant of the visa- and because it can take about a decade (positive scenario) , if their medical condition wont be not good, they might not be fit to pass these medical examinations and wont be granted their visa.
