Thanks Moran. At the time i applied, i definitely met all of the criteria above. Just to double check, you are assuming (as long as i inform them that i am going to be abroad), that there is no stipulated time limit for being out of the country during the visa processing stages? Thanks, Marc

Hi all - question to the forum that i'd be grateful on response from people with any experience or knowledge. I submitted my citizenship application 3 weeks ago, have been in the country 4.5 years and have never spent more than a month or so a year outside of the country. I am however about to embark on a ~6month trip outside of Australia, most likely 2 months home in UK and about 4 months in South America. When i read the citizenship application, it seemed to be worded that you had to not be outside the country for a period of over 6 months in the 2 years prior to submitting your application.I potentially read this too literally but assumed as it said only about being outside the country prior to lodging, any travel from the time you lodged on-wards, there was no limit on this? Can anyone please help on this and provide any advice? Thanks, Marc

Looks like I've got the golden ticket now too! Status has changed to finalised and just waiting for confirmation from MA although have seen grant notice. Transition Applied 28nov 2016 for everything Grant notice 18 may 2017 ICT business analyst LR Will update spreadsheet! Good luck everyone - so happy , great way to start a Friday night! Reviewing the spreadsheet I was wondering if anyone can tell me how they know what processing office their case has been assigned to? I only have "received" status on mine and all Comms goes thru MA. Thanks Sent from my iPhone using PomsinOz

Hey- mines was lodged on very same day. How can you tell that you have a CO assigned? My status on IMMI just says 'received' still. Do you when it was assigned? Cheers. Sent using Poms in Oz mobile app

Thanks Syd for this! Indeed from UK so hopefully this is the case - just feels very out of control as all communications go between IMMI and my work. Will update if i hear anything. Thanks for letting me know about being able to import. Have done so and only showing as 'Received' and no status update since when it was submitted on 28 November - so i guess i will be waiting a little while longer!

Hi all. New to this forum so appreciate if any advice available. Applying on transition stream as ICT Business Analyst, application and all paperwork were submitted by my company on my behalf on 28 November 2016. I haven't heard anything back and annoyingly can't check status online myself as i assume it is all registered under their account. Is anyone also in this situation and do you know if possible to phone up and get any news from IMMI? I have the reference number but can't login into IMMI as it's my companies account. Can anyone let me know what the 'spreadsheet' is that i've seen referred to throughout this forum - can't see any links. Is anyone aware of where the current applications from November '16 would currently sit in the queue? Thanks everyone - good to find somewhere where i know people understand the frustration/anticipation i feel every day!
