Timeline on 309/100 via applied for in London

Honestly, this is torture. I'm trying to be patient but my husband has a 3 month notice period and we want to travel at the end of May which means end of Feb for his resignation. If my visa isn't through soon it's panic time. Everything is organised pretty much apart from the visa. Surely 14 years together and coming up to 11 years of marriage should be an easy yes! [emoji24][emoji24] All my husband's ancestor needed to do was steal a love of bread and he was sent to Australia for free! He even arrived a free man having served his sentence on the ship there!!! I don't suppose if I "half inch" a packet of crumpets from Sainsbury's the same thing will happen [emoji23][emoji23]- 3,663 replies

We are looking at a 40ft container, but that is a 4 bed house and a 1 bed flat shipped together at the same time. In total there will be 4 sofa's 2 arm chairs, two dining tables etc, etc. We are not taking white goods or any wardrobes. So it's a lot of stuff and they think there will probably be a little space left over. Quotes currently are between 5.5K and 6.2K eeeek.

Lets hope Friday was a "snowday" and stopped COs travelling into the office to press the grant button on our applications. Today there is no snow in London so we can expect them to come flying out!!! Fingers crossed !- 3,663 replies

Shipping remover disclaimer for declining their insurance
Ingers replied to swc132994's topic in Shipping and Removals
This is useful information! I have a quote from PSS but will be looking at another two also. Simpsons and Bourne's . Reading the insurance details will be key based on the information here! -
Scrub everything!!! But using Jeyes fluid I've been told is a good tip as it has a strong smell and satisfies customs that things have been properly cleaned

I wish I knew if the was a rough order to the approvals. Are they processed in order of lodgement? If there was an RFI , order of RFI request or the date when all the docs were uploaded? The constant checking is driving me a touch doo-lally [emoji23][emoji14]- 3,663 replies

I have used Pet Air UK for my cats too. They are currently booked for May to fly so I'm hoping my visa comes before then! The experience has been pretty good so far. In fact, it's only proving difficult for me to get into the country, everything else, though pricey has been fairly easy to arrange!- 3,663 replies

What Jon says! My Aussie is so by decent. We have a certificate for the date it was officially "granted" so used that as the grant date.

Is 40SP required from both immi accounts?
Ingers replied to caribus's topic in Family / Partner Visas
We lodged everything on my immi account to begin with, however on our RFI we were asked for the sponsor to have their own immi account for the 40sp. This resulted in a lot of duplication of documents on both my account and his. As I understand it, as long as all the required documents are presented and both the immi accounts are linked this should be sufficient. [emoji106] -

Ingers replied to caribus's topic in Family / Partner Visas
They will join your account and the sponsors immi account together as long as you have provided your TRN in the sponsors application. I did it this was and why my Husband (the Aussie) logs into his immi account now it's linked directly to mine now. [emoji4] -

Another grant! Great news. My heart skipped a beat this morning when I woke to an email entitled "Outcome of Application" It was from the Australian Government, but turned out to be my cats approval grant for their travel [emoji23][emoji23] So that's the Cats and the Mother in Law's RRV sorted. Just waiting for my golden email now!- 3,663 replies

I'm not particularly religious but our Neighbour is a Bishop and and I've asked him to chuck an extra prayer into the ether. Hopefully his lofty position may hold some weight with the Visa Gods. [emoji23][emoji23] My house clearance in preparation for going on the the market continues. Cats are booked on their flight......it's all moving in the right direction!- 3,663 replies

Pretty much the same as you! I'd already loaded some financial documents but they requested more from 2015 onwards. My husband is the Aussie and he was asked for an Australian Police cert as well as a UK one. He also had to give his travel details for the last 10 years which was mainly back and forth to Australia. We've been together 13 years, married 10 with no kids. I'm hopeful that we are a pretty straight forward case but who knows! [emoji12]- 3,663 replies

They look like they are open over Christmas too. I'm hoping that a quiet office and Christmas cheer may push a few more through. [emoji23] Checking is becoming an obsession! My immi account and my husband's sponsor immi account are now linked in the system so things are slowly moving. I wonder if I write a last minute letter to Santa, if he will help. Up in the hills - Mundaring. We decided we wanted to be semi rural but still within a decent distance to the CBD. I have family up there too, which helps! You get A LOT more for your money in Perth too. My other half is from Sydney and he feels Perth is a lot more chilled so that's where we have plumped for [emoji16]- 3,663 replies

Hi Katie! I submitted in August, extra info was requested in November - AFP checks for my Sponsor, his Sponsorship forms and additional Financial evidence -all submitted within the week. We've been together since 05, married in Australia in 08. He is an Aussie with dual citizenship. No kids to bring and strong family ties in Australia. We've even just completed on a House in Perth today so just awaiting that magical email so I can book flights. It's painful waiting isn't it! I don't think mine will be in before Christmas, but fingers crossed that others are granted - it will mean mine will be working it's way to the top of the pile! [emoji23][emoji23]- 3,663 replies
