  1. Who knows. We need to ask a MA to see. It would make sense if they get notified, though. I too asked my MA at the time, if I could import the application just to track our status to avoid calling him all the time, and his answer was "No, that is why you got me." However, I did import the application and he didn't say anything (maybe they don't get notified). So do what suits you best. In our case, our Manager encouraged us to do so, as he did the same (also applied for PR but two years ago). I believe they say "No" to avoid users misusing the application, or try uploading paperwork without their consent. Cheers, N
  2. So sorry to read this. But you will move forward! Be strong!!! Contact Salvo Migration. They are great!!!!!! Your golden time will come. You still got options. All the best!! @sbrowne9
  3. Hey @Hex Yes you shall notify the Department of any changes (check page 3 of your Visa Grant Notification) it clearly states it. Furthermore, I too, hold two passports and provided info of both. However I use the primary one (the one I used for application and to enter the country). The secondary passport is on their records. Any changes made for either one must be notified via form 1022. Saying this, the only passport I am able to see on application, grant notice, etc will be only the primary one. You may chose which one to use. Cheers.
  4. Hey!! Same as us, also applied on 05/March/2018 and requested same docs on 29/Dec/2018 (nom paperwork and our police checks) once we responded to their request it took 32 days to grant our visa(30/Jan/2019) So our status went from 'Recieved' to "Initial assessment' and then Finalised. I think you will hear from them within 28-35days aprox once you respond. All the best!!! @bigbro
  5. Hex is right. According to the lady at centerlink, you are not entitled if you were granted PR from 01*Jan*2019 onwards. You shall wait 2 years for paid government parental leave (maternity leave) and 1 year for Tax Family benefit. If you have more questions visit your nearest Centerlink or visit Mygov.gov.au Cheers, N
  6. Yes it is parental leave..you shall meet the two year requirement after 01/Jan/2019. In my case I asked for both scenarios. You would be only entitled to any maternity leave/parental leave written on your contract woth your employer.
  7. Yes no worries.. Was hoping we were eligible. But when they say "new arriving residents" they include those who have lived here but JUST BECAME PR. So...we missed out for 29 days...but oh well. Hehe . Yes no worries. Best of luck!!!!!!
  8. Hi All, Those wondering for entitlements for paid gov parental leave (for partner:fathers) we asked today at Centrelink/Medicare and the lady confirmed that those who become PR as of 01/Jan/19 onwards shall wait two years to receive this entitlement. And for tax family benefit a year. More info on mygov.com.au Went today to get the green medicare card as PR!!! Congrats to all getting their PR, nominations approved or even files getting looked at. Your big day is coming!!!!
  9. Complete the 1023 form for Incorrect answers provided. And provide correct answers + document. You are allow to submit documents throughtout the waiting time before CO makes any decision. I too, had to correct and submit correct docs, and I just got my PR. Don't stress. Good luck. N
  10. Stay strong!!!!!!! Praying for you Another day that passes by without a grant means another day you get closer to your BIG DAY!!
  11. On your Immi account, you shall find the status and under that name of applicants with birth date following by the word "Granted". Once you open the Visa Grant Details..you will find the letter. The letter will say they have granted you an Employer nomination etc (...) They can't grant you without granting the nomination. So, If it says finalised on your account and reads "granted" it means YOU ARE PR!!!! Time to celebrate.
  12. Btw, I am pregnant! Haha baby due in early april 2019. Hubby is the one sponsored!!
