  1. I had my nomination refused too, without asking any documents, so unfair. There are 2 options I can think of: 1. Withdraw my visa application so it will not be refused which make a record in my visa history. Re-submit nomination with more supporting documents and re-submit new application. New process/time frame will start all over again I have read through the forum and there was a case that the second nomination was approved, so there is a little bit of hope there. 2. Go to AAT. But AAT also takes ages (449 days). I also read through the forum about AAT and one person did both things at the same time: re-submitted nomination and appeal. After 2 months he got nomination approved and he withdrew his appeal application There was also another one that submitted appeal in Nov 2016. AAT asked for documents in March 2018, in May AAT decided he won, no court hearing. So which way to go, I am still not sure yet Does anyone had experience with one or two options above, or both, please do share. Thanks
  2. Do u think your MA submitted all the docs correctly ? You should ask them. I have a confidence in them because they are very careful. They are also surprised that the nomination is refused. And I don't understand that the company needs staff and case offer judged that the post is not needed
  3. Sorry to hear that dear. What's your occupation. They decided your case too early This is I don't understand and feel very unfair
  4. AAT also take ages. Currently on the website it said 449 days. But I saw one member in the forum submitted AAT Nov 2016, submitted requested docs in March 2018, AAT's result in May 2018, but lucky that no hearing needed. I think this is a very rare case. All options take time, money and little hope ahead
  5. In the writing letter did not mention any reasons. Only mentioned on phone that my position is not needed. If we decide to re-submit then we have to attach more documents saying that the company needs me and show them more in details what I am doing in that role
  6. Sorry to hear that Vejay. I am also thinking what option I should take next. If resubmit and wait again, and it it is refused, then consider again go AAT or not. But if go AAT now then if they said no as the result then all doors closed
  7. My nomination had been refused without asking any documents after 7 months waiting. I am so upset. There are 2 options for me to choose: 1. Withdraw my application so it will not be refused. Re-submit nomination with more supporting documents and re-submit new application. The new process will start all over again 2. Withdraw my application and appeal for nomination refusal I don't understand Immi refused nomination without asking any information and without stating reasons in the refusal letter. By calling my Agent, they said they think my role is not needed. Then why they approved my 457 2 years ago? Does anyone had the same experience?
  8. AAT started Nov 2016 and you had result on 16 May 2018. Such a long wait. But congratulations. May I ask after submitted new nomination and new application in March 2017 (second attempt), did you receive a response from Immi regarding your new nomination and when?
  9. So after nomination refused, you withdrawn application, then reapply another nomination?
  10. Because 186 is all about the Company sponsorship so if they have any questions, they should talk to the Company, not the Application. Especially MA did all the paperworks for the applicant. There is one part in the 186 application said that "All communications should be directed to... (the Agent's contact details)
  11. Because if MA submitted for you then all communication about your application should go via your Agent, they don't contact you directly. This surprised me. Does anyone had the same experience?
  12. Guys, for your information. So this means processing time is based on the facts of last months.
  13. Yes, they cut off 300 staff few months ago. The thing is if all applications are met the timeline then we all fine. But we don't know where we are as no specific rules. I still hope that this is a default timeline that posted for all recent 186 applications and not apply to the backlogs. Cheer up everyone, nothing we can do rather than be patient and wait.
  14. If ALL required documents had been submitted at the first stage then I think you don't need to worry
  15. Congratulations! Your great news really bright up Melbourne these cold days :)-
  16. I actually try not to log in the immi a/c but gave up after 2 days :)- I also tried to be a quiet follower as to others who finally got their grants but I also gave up :)-
  17. 'Received' word does really make me feel unexcited so i fully understand your feeling
  18. So quiet today :)- I think everyone is busy refreshing the immi page to see a golden change :)-
  19. Looking at the spreadsheet, it seems that the applications from Dec 2017 backwards have been now processing?
  20. I understand morally we should continue to work for the employer who sponsors you for another 2 years after the visa grant as company can only do 186 for you if there is an available continued position for the next 2 years. However, as far as I know, there is no obligation that you must stay until the end of 2 years. In fact, you already worked for them 2 years as 457 plus another 1 year or more waiting for 186 to be granted. So the total time at least 3 years contributed to the sponsored employer. Of course, if you have a better job offer or you are moving to live in another state, then they can stop you and that's the good reason to leave. As advised by one of the lawyer that I know, nicely that you should work for few months before leaving them after 186 granted. With my specific case, I had a very good offer in another state but I can't leave right now because I am waiting for my 186 granted. The new employer finally withdrawn the offer after 4 months waiting as there is no specific timeline how long they can wait. I feel very pity but what I can do, I have to accept it.
