Our son applied for Aos online on 9 may. Submitted all documents online using his my gov account so I suppose he scanned pay slips and whatever else was needed. I think past tax returns are already linked but not sure. He has not been to a centrelink office. They gave him 20 June as an expected date but as yet we have heard nothing.

We are already sorting stuff and getting rid of rubbish and trips to the charity shop. We thought about putting our house on the market when we know our assurance of support is sorted so that we can make a quick getaway when the visa is hopefully granted. Does anyone have any ideas on when the best time might be to put a property on the market? They don't take long to sell where we are but I should imagine that solicitors and searches etc will take their time.

We had invite at beginning of May. Not heard anything about assurance of support yet. I think Emmys Gran also heard and has lodgement date around ours.

We have also received our invitation letter. Looks like I will be form filling today and I have just spoken with my son who is going to deal with the assurance of support.

I don't think it is the 864 visa that's not available but they can't give details of processing times due to the lack of applications.

It's not just AOS processing times. There are those of us in the queue that lodged visa applications before 25 June that are still waiting for invitations for the next step.

Hi everyone. I have discovered that the agent we had acting for our visa Get-Going UK Ltd was dissolved last August. Processing times are long and so contact was minimal but after sending an email earlier in the week and not getting a reply I decided to investigate. Just wondered if this information may be of use to anyone else.

We are waiting for our 143 submitted on 23 June 2015. It's interesting to hear about the experiences of sending possessions to Oz. We are planning on travelling light and only taking personal things with us maybe a few exceptions. Just need to get through the medicals and then we can start to make plans.
