  1. Your case gets more complicated. Your boss sold the business? Do you still work there? Speak to your MA about options.
  2. Very sorry to hear that mate So your company has not been paying the correct Superannuation amount to staff? That's a pretty serious error if I've picked this up correctly.
  3. You must be having a laugh...but I will repeat what has already been discussed. 10 months - 15 months. It has been updated on your IMMI account. Gov Website not updated yet - give it a few days.
  4. Welcome to the madhouse No issues with falling pregnant. If your baby is born before PR is approved you can add him/her to the application. If the baby is born after PR is granted - then he/she would be eligible for citizenship.
  5. @Jenny1985 @Sunnyy see my post explaining it above. The website has NOT been updated yet.
  6. It always takes them longer to update the website. The below link will be updated in the next few days: https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/getting-a-visa/visa-processing-times/global-visa-processing-times When you log in to your IMMI account you will see the new estimated processing times. 10 - 15 months is great news

  8. Have a nice weekend everyone. I'm off out on my Works Christmas Party - few drinks and try to forget about my Visa for awhile. No doubt ill be logging into IMMI first thing Monday morning as usual Its becoming an unhealthy habit!!!
  9. If you want to live with two wife's, Australia probably isn't the place for you to settle.
  10. Can you provide details of Occupation and timeline? Not much use without that mate.
  11. The best thing to do is deal with a competent MA. I know they can sometimes be hard to find. A competent MA will know exactly what you need to provide and make sure its all provided ensuring you have the best possible chance of success. Again this doesn't guarantee a 100% success rate as mistakes can happen, we are all human. My MA requested an ORG chart and a letter from my employer to state their need for me.
  12. They can reject the nomination straight away - based on missing information without any contact. With the Visa - they normally request missing/outdated documents. I think @Hex may be referring to the Visa part ??
  13. Hopefully not much longer to wait. Throughout Dec/Jan/Feb they should (again hopefully) get through the majority of applications from Feb18.
  14. Seen as a high risk occupation. More scrutiny on these applications by the department. Due to this, on average, you can expect longer processing times than other occupations.
  15. If you are within the processing time line there is no point phoning them. You will get a generic response.
  16. Just wait until you get your Citizenship - and return home after that, without any worries.
  17. It was my MA who advised me to hold off on my medical - as she didn't want me having to pay for it twice if my application took longer than 12 months. I'm glad she did.
  18. Yeah its a pain. The way around overpaying is don't complete your medical and Police Clearance straight away. They are not needed immediately when visa is lodged. Hold off as long as you can depending on your visa timeline. For example if IMMI state the approx processing time is 12-18 months - apply for Police Clearance and Medical around the 8 month mark. That way you would need to be very unlucky to have to complete them again.
  19. Personally i'd be happy with anything under 12. The rate they seem to be coming in at for most on here at the moment is around 10. Good luck
  20. That's great news! Seeing someone with the same occupation get some movement gives me hope
  21. Sorry to hear that Hate hearing of people getting rejected. What was wrong with the Benchmark?
