  1. Brilliant! Very happy to see some movement. Congratualtions. 16 Months wait WOW! Well deserved. Lets hope Immi keep up the momentum!
  2. Yes! But you will have to start from scratch and do another 2 years with the new company before you can apply for PR.
  3. I feel like you are in a good position either way. You have Citizenship so you know you can always come back. It’s great to have that option, the world is your oyster. Give yourself some more time at home, 3 months isn’t long at all and I’d imagine the move home was a huge ordeal. I've been here 5 years (Melbourne, which I love). It’s taken a long time to settle in and I often think of going home but I’m still waiting for PR and I want to have that option of being able to return if I ever decide to try out home again. I may never live at home again but having the options are so valuable. You already have that option so take in all the wonderful parts of the U.K. Venture and explore, lap up that amazing English humour and enjoy your family and friends. Melbourne will still be here if and when you decide to come back. I wish you the best.
  4. The company I work for are huge. Very well known and make Millions $$$ in profit each year, they are government funded on certain projects and government regulated. They have been a validated Employment sponsor with Immigration for 20+ years, so there wont be any issues on the company side of things. I hate the fact that I have to keep questioning why they are approving late 2017 applications and leaving 2016 in the dark. I just wish I knew their logic! If they actually work on logic!
  5. Yes! Project/Program Administrator, Direct Entry, Low Risk, 1 Person. Granted within less than 5 Months. Maybe the occupation is not the deciding factor in prioritising applications. Anyway happy for this person but just more and more confused about the process. Lets all try to keep our chins up!
  6. I wish they would just leave it alone instead of changing it every few weeks. Giving hope and then snatching it away again. Its torture. I just seen a post from someone who is in the exact same occupation as me, same circumstances i.e. onshore DE etc and got granted within less than 5 months! What is going on in there? I'm really fed up waiting. Almost 11 Months now!
  7. Can you elaborate on what this Tracker is and how i can gain access to it?
  8. Hi @Ozdream1 I hear conflicting stories about calling Immigration. Some people call and finish up by being irritated and even more confused. Some people have called and then their files have been opened or finalised very soon after. I'm trying to hold off calling them as my MA has said they will probably say the usual "Its not been allocated, just wait". I suppose its worth a shot either way. I sometimes wonder if all the calls they receive might hold them up from processing the applications. You would hope they have a different department to deal with incoming calls but I've also heard that it can go straight to a Case officer. I'm over 10 months now. Becoming more and more frustrated, especially since they are approving late 2017 Applications. It seems really unfair. If you do call them, please give us all an update on what they said. Best of luck.
  9. To be honest, after reading a lot of what others say on here I dont think I want to waste my time by calling them. They never give any information that eases your mind. It will only make me feel worse, so again I am just going to wait and keep hope.
  10. Also i see that the occupations have been deleted from the December Tab. Can you december guys update yours?
  11. Both on 5th December 2016 - Project Administrator - in the Deccember Tab on spreadsheet.
  12. Thanks for the update Stella. I see you have been waiting such a long time. I'm sorry for you. I wish you the best and lets all keep eachother updated.
  13. If these stats are correct. In 2016 there were 35,981 186 Visas granted 2,998 Per month 10% of that figure is 299 So there could be around 299 people currently in the 10% group of our Month of application submittal preparing for a nervous breakdown! And not to mention all the other people from previous months who fall in to this so called 10% group. So that would then mean that almost 4000 applications will never meet the "Guideline timeframes" Also these stats dont include 187 Visa applicaitons etc, i have only taken the 186 figures from the article and i have no idea if Case Officers work specifically on a particular category of visa number i.e. 186 only CO's and 187 only CO's. This 10% could be higher if that is the case. Are these figures right? Anyone got any feedback on this article? https://www.tssimmigration.com.au/migration-news/blog/2016-2017-australian-migration-programme-key-statistics-for-the-year-in-imm
  14. Guys, I am trying to do some housekeeping of the spreasheet and wondered if there are any within December 2016 which we can close off. I know of only 2 people in this month that are still waiting (one being myself and @Ozdream1. I have done some other reasearch and either the rest of the outstanding candidates (in Dec 2016) are more relaxed than I am or they have been granted and have not come back to the forum. It would help all of us still waiting if everyone would please update details. It gives us all hope. @Nikki @PK2017
  15. Congratulations. I'm happy to see a few grants this week. Seen a few in December 2016 so hoping i'm next in the queue & @Ozdream1 were in the same month and there has been movement. Fingers crossed. Almost 10 months wait now.
  16. YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY! So so happy for you! Finally!!! You deserve it so much. Delighted for you. I'm off on Holiday tomorrow so im so happy to get some positive news before I go. Good on ya, and thanks for all the advice. Brilliant! xx
  17. Awww @jess6 you're so lovely and i can see how much you are helping people on here with advice and support. If I had control over this, I would wait a few more months so that you would get yours granted first. You have been waiting so long and you're continually supportive and kind. When you do get yours granted you must post straight away because it will brighten a lot of peoples day on this Forum. Best of luck again.
  18. Welcome to the waiting game. We all need to keep each other’s spirits up. I've been waiting since Dec 2016. Not as long as others. But the waiting is really starting to get to me. I've become addicted to this forum and my Immi account. Made the mistake of starting from the first page and found on page 17 some people getting granted within 11 weeks! Happy for them but I’m now bordering on the line of being bitter :( Poor me syndrome! Hate that. Anyway, best of luck with yours and keep us updated. I see some from March are approved so you never know you could be one of the lucky groups and have it granted real soon. Best of luck.
  19. What visa are you currently on? I am on 457 which expires in November and was told that I can freely Travel until the 457 expires. Or has your briging visa already kicked in? Enjoy your trip home, try not to worry too much. If they have opened your file you will have news in the next week or so. Best of luck.
  20. My Permenent role (the one which I was sponsored under) was made redundant so in order to stay on so i could await my PR they seconded me in to a temp role with their sister company. As i am on the DE scheme I cannot apply for a role with the Sister company, I can only apply with the main company and as i say they are making lots of redundancies and there is no role for me. They did supply the 2 year letter but current climate dictates cuts in staff so it makes no difference. They are not obligated to keep me on just because they supplied that letter. Very worrying.
  21. Hi All I applied for DES 186 on the 06/12/2016 Project Manager. It’s now 8 months in and have no word from Immigration and I am constantly chasing my MA for any form of communication. Their response is always the same generic email copied from Immigration and states they are now up to April 2016 to March 2017? This timeline makes zero sense to me. I am assuming the April 2016 group are ones where extra info is required and the candidates have not yet submitted???? Who knows. I wouldn’t be in such a rush in normal circumstances but I am currently on a secondment role and it is due to finish up in September. There have been lots of redundancies and officially I do not have a role, so if my PR is not granted by September I will be made redundant and my PR application will be void. Reading up on here and using the spreadsheet has given me some hope and some concerns. It’s good to know that there are people who fully understand how frustrating and worrying this whole process can be. Good luck to you all and I will make the effort to update the spreadsheet as and when I get approved. Best of Luck. AJS
