Hi, I am the same i applied for the PMV 300 though, i uploaded my medical and police certificates Monday i don't see why it should take another 10 months seen as they didn't ask for anything else. Just a nightmare

Congratulations! What's your timeline? When's the wedding? I applied on the 12/8 we get married 29/7/17, c/0 assigned 4 days ago, req medicals in 70days applied for 600 visitor visa yesterday 4 months and I can't do long distance anymore lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Personally I would rather lose money and disrupt the family for 12 months if it means having no regrets, my parents regret not going years ago as the visa process is so difficult now, Iv just come back to the UK after 4 years because my visa expired im lucky that im in the process of my partner visa, having come back to the UK for the last 3 month nothing has changed here everyone is still doing the same ect, you would be mad to give up the opportunity

I think mines around 1300/1400 that's pretty cheap I looked into one it was the same price as the visa crazy! Yes they are expensive I agree Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hi, I haven't personally used them I used a different agent, I was unsure at first, however due to the cost of the visa's I didn't want to risk missing any information which could delay longer, I looked into No boarders but there fee was the same price as the visa! so I changed and went with a different company. I think your in safe hands. Good luck with the visa.

Hey, it was pretty easy to be honest I used a migration agent only because I didn't want to pay all that money and miss things, and I wanted to make sure everything we should need to include was at the start, we just made sure our dates were the same but wrote what we felt they are very different and our friends were just honest Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

it says the same on the immigration website I cant see why they would advise 6 months for the marriage visa if it was going to take 10months +

Yeah, iv had a look no one seems to be doing that visa, my migration agent advised maximum 6 months as well.

Hi, I think it all depends on the amount of evidence you have, I was under the impression that you had to live together for 12months before the visa is applied for, I have been with my partner 2.5years I am from the UK and he is Australian. We have lived together for over 12 months however because we lived apart for 3 months within the last 12 months we don't have a strong enough case to apply for the partner visa, we are engaged so we applied for the PMV on the 12/08, and I am currently waiting to be assigned a C/O. My advice would be to speak with a migration agent.

Hi Dotdotslash, have you spoke to a migration agent?, I was In Aus for 4 years and my visa expired I am back in the UK and have had to apply for a PMV offshore, although I have been with my partner for 2 years we lived apart due to work commitments and don't feel we had sufficient evidence as they are very strict, I am still waiting for a CO and have been here for 3 months its hard being apart but its the only way for us atm. I would suggest maybe talk with one as your case seems abit complex. good luck

You don't pay the full amount it will cost us around $1200 for the partner visa once married, yeah I understand that, me and my partner don't mind just means this next 12 months for us will be very expensive Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I saw my partner every weekend the migration agent said we had to actually fully live together for the 12 months prior to lodgement it's such a pain lol! I would say get a migration agent to give you some advise they are the experts Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hi from my own experience I couldn't apply for this visa due to the last 12 months I haven't lived with my partner for the whole time due to work commitments we have also been together for 3 years and are engaged but our migration agent advised we don't have a strong enough case to complete this visa, we are in the process of the 300 prospective marriage visa then once married we can apply for the partner visa, good luck with yours Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
