  1. Yes. My in laws said at the weekend it was unacceptable to not have a date for them. Like we're not desperate to have our visa granted! Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk
  2. I still find it incredible that people feel they have the right to even say anything negative. When I tell people and they react badly I think that says more about them than my decision. Also when you've got children (we have 2, UK to Brisbane) it's a little offensive to suggest you haven't considered the move properly. You're going on an amazing adventure, enjoy it!! 3. Congratulations to you!! Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk
  4. Nope. Just checked and no change to status. I read on another thread the full 8 weeks is usual so I'm going to try and put it out of my mind a bit because if that's the case I've got another 4 weeks... Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk
  5. The Limbo is fairly stressful! We submitted further docs mid Feb but no change to visa status since then. My job was due to start already and my eldest daughter is having a leaving party tomorrow! We are UK to Queensland. Even people I know there already said it would be 'a few days, couple of weeks max' so the fact we don't have a decision is increasingly worrying. They have got 8 weeks to process it though so I just keep checking..... Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk
  6. Wow. That's great...and so quick! Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk
  7. My employer don't use MAs either. They have a great success rate though. Fingers crossed ? Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk
  8. (Sigh) My wait hasn't been that long, my nomination was approved 3rd Feb and my supporting documentation was submitted 16th Feb - I've been assessment in progress since 17th Feb. My job was due to start already but I'm lucky my employer is being really supportive. We're starting to pack, have quotes from movers etc. But really now there's nothing we can do until the Case Officer says 'Yes'. I just want to be there now. Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk
  9. It's been assessment in progress since 17th February. The day after I submitted the documentation it changed.
  10. Still assessment in progress. Supporting information submitted 16th February 2016....
  11. I'm coming from the UK and originally accepted the offer of employment on 15th Dec 2015.There was a bit of a delay initially as they weren't sure under what job title the nomination should be submitted - the role could be classified as Marketing or Specialist Manager. Anyway I was approved as a specialist manager but was given a minimum of 3 months wait time and a full skills assessment. In the end they resubmitted the nomination as a marketing role and it was approved within a few days. They were already an approved sponsor. I was told to wait until the nomination was approved before completing my visa application on line. So far its been 'Assessment in Progress' for 6 long days. I need to work on my patience...
  12. Hi All, I thought I join the visa wait conversation...my employer nomination was approved about 10 days ago and I submitted my documentation this morning. Fingers crossed for a speedy approval but feeling a bit more nervy after reading the posts on here! I didn't think it would be such a big deal when I applied for the job back in September 15. It feels like a MASSIVE deal now :-)
