Most oldies have warm centrally heated homes but if you are concerned for anyone in-particular let me know and I will check on them for you.
I think you'll find a lot of oldies can't afford to heat there homes, we used to check on some near us during bad weather when we lived in the UK, perhaps you could do the same show there is still some community spirit left despite what everyone says.

You shouldn't worry too much, I don't even know anyone in the UK who worries about the UK weather as much as you.
I do like how you keep an eye on things back home though. Best to keep your options open.
Worried good lord not for me but hope all the old folk back in the UK are OK and have someone to look out for them during the bad weather, terrible time of year for the oldies.

We haven't installed them but bought a house with them and also solar hot water, big difference in bills from our previous place. I guess if you are looking to stay where you are long term then it will always be worth it.

We prefer Freo for bars. City is too spread out. Freo has tons of bars in easy walking distance.
Same here love Freo such a great vibe to it.

Not really any different from the cases of child abuse in aboriginal communities or by Rotherham grooming gangs............what's your point?

You do like to split hairs Apollo. I think you know very well what we are all getting at. We are saying integration is the way to go. What we are also saying is some migrants aren't interested in integrating.
And the ones who are not interested in integrating (regardless of ethnicity) are the ones who will struggle the most.

Slowly slowly. After a few scary hiccups (the company I’ll be working for went silent for a week!) I’m in the final throws of sorting.
My UK house is destroyed by me sorting before movers come. I’m giving in an paying a cleaner when I leave.
Movers due Tuesday (and of course I’m away tomorrow until Monday), then fly the following Tuesday.
I’ll be there by Easter!
Anyone know any dirt cheap rent-a-bomb style places in Perth? My lease car won’t be sorted for a week or so, and I don’t want to be bored over Easter stuck in an apartment in South Perth.
Scary/excited/terrified...Try these two they are opposite each other out Freo way but easy to get to by bus, I used the top one between cars a couple of years back dirt cheap!!
Fremantle world of cars http://www.fremantlecarhire.com/
Or Backpacker car rentals http://www.backpackercarrentals.com.au/

After 32 years we believe Australia in now the country of HATE. Can't believe why anyone would want to live here now And take a chance..It's no good reading the posts by those , that look through rose coloured glasses at Australia. And say they love it. it's so wonderful the ones on here like the Pom Queen etc.. Quoll is nearer the truth. get the Australian Newspapers and Google the Australian news.Get the real facts.. Australia is so overrated, it's the drug capital of the world per capita. It has a violent sick society. Like all westernised countries.Discipline and manners many have never heard of them..Drugs in Schools, Bullying is rampant. Violence in schools, the highest suicides of young people in the world.Murders, Stabbing attacks, shootings and bashings every day. Immigrants are not welcome in Australia now. Many Australians are anti pom always have been always will be. Having a Scottish accent they tell me all the time. They say it's the same as what the Poms think of Asians and Muslims in the UK.. The recent Ashes test was disgusting,Aussies showing their utter contempt towards the poms. Those that love Australia shrug all that off, and will take anything. You are a pom and want to be ridiculed come to the 5th Happiest Country in the World. Melbourne was recently voted the most livable city in the World.Who is getting paid, to say such nonsense ?..Melbourne is in chaos. Gangs of youths terrorising suburbs and the City centre. We used to go out for meal regularly, not now. Most don't even take the dog out for a walk at night.Anyone that leaves the UK with a Family ,a house of their own, and a good job.Is mad to give up all they have +there relations .To come to Australia. Now that the Coalition Government has decide that if you are a dual citizen, become ill are deemed to be a burden on the Australian health service Your Australian citizenship will be cancelled, and you will be deported to your country of origin.I'm 80 and my wife 78. If we knew what we know now we would never have left the UK.We have 4 Kids one in Australia, and three in New Zealand.
WOW ?

you can almost feel the envy from here .
that is when they resort to insults ....whether it is brexit or anything else .
you miss elements of the u.k ...i can sense it ,but you wont admit it .....so you trawl the likes of the independent ( what a misnomer) to dig out shit about the u.k weather .
This is only weeks after saying you miss the u.k seasons ???...am I right ?
I openly admit , that Australia was very good to me .....i miss my Aussie mates ....and could do with spending ,at least ,the u.k winter in oz ., I have no issues with oz at all .
in relation to the u.k , its better to be honest with yourself and others
get it out there son ,be honest , let it go ???
p.s
I may be a few things ,but a blagger and bullshitter I ain't
Feel the envy of what? Your delusional if you think that is the case I miss a couple of things about the UK the countryside for one but then I remember why it's so green and it subsides
I don't recall ever saying I miss the UK seasons more BS on your part?
No need for insults I'm a normally a fairly good judge of character and can see through you easy enough.
You have to constantly resort to trying to BS people into believing you lead a happy life in england you post photos at every opportunity of quaint little country roads every time you drive down one in some attempt to convince yourself life is good where you are. Your bitter because you had leave a good life in Oz admit it go on sonny let it all out..........
Go on mention Europe again

bs ...absolute bs ....when I was younger 60s -70s -80s winter was guaranteed ....tell me pre 90s when there was a mild and wet winter ?
Calm down dear not BS at all, climate change is having an effect in warming things up a tad but the UK has NEVER had winters like some of mainland Northern Europe NEVER i think you are starting to believe what you want to be true, there are things called weather almanacs look back through them and you will find the UK always has had variable winters.
