Hi Rosie, I know it's scary but Alix is currently out there at the moment And judging by her Facebook she is having the time of her life :-). You'll be fine, there are so many people to meet along the way out there! I arrive in February on my own and I'm so excited! It'll be the best thing you'll ever do, I promise!

I'm getting my insurance end of this month. Will be emailing around about the using the visa expiry as proof of returning and will be booking with the cheapest that says yes. I'll also be putting a copy of the email in with the policy documents I will give to my Mum just incase anything happens to me. Thinking about it, to be fair, that's not much left for me to do lol. Insurance and Bank Account and a few bills to sort... I thought I had loads! haha

Hey, I was wondering if anyone could suggest a good pair of walking shoes or trainers. I'm obviously going to be walking a lot. I do walk a lot now but I tend to wear stupid shoes(daytime shoes, pumps) and have no idea where to start looking or what to look for. Tbankkkks

Just been down to Devon for a few days and got really excited. My friends lives down there and I sure do love the beach lifestyle.... Can I fast forward 5 months please?

Alix- Just had chance to use my case for the first time, in the worst conditions. I'm going to Devon tomorrow but staying at work tonight as it's nearer the Train St. So I've brought my case to work with me and i go to Toys 'R' Us first(for presents-not for me lol). I come out and its raining so hard- My jacket is in my case and I have bags, my case and my heavy handbag and not far off a mile to walk to work, which is nothing if the rain wasn't near enough torrential haha. Except from a few seconds of frustration(more my fault than the cases) it just glided along beside me so smooth, was fab. I'm slightly in love xx

Stacey when do you go to Manchester? Hopefully it comes before :-). I'm quite lucky where I work as I can never miss a parcel lol

Haha defo agree the size is deceiving. I'm so happy with it. I've never travelled with a backpack, so I don't have one. And by the sounds of it, don't want one lol xx

I LOVE mine lol. The outside has a slight rubbery texture which is not your typical hard shell so doesn't seem so easy to break. Mainly love the colour though haha. Size is perfect

Alix mine has been delivered! Although it's been delivered to work(I work in a hotel) just incase I wasn't in when it got delivered. So I won't see it till this evening.
