hi it took our visa 90 days from the day we uploaded our documents, and you are correct with the rest of the information, I have never heard of anyone being refused their visa. We have been in Perth 10 months now and we are loving it, good luck and I'm sure you will hear soon

Good luck to you all it took us 3 months from uploading our documents to getting our 189 visa, I know it feels a long time especially when others seem to be getting theirs, but it is worth it, don't stress you will receive it eventually, cheers from Perth x

yes that's why I suggested the ielts to, my partner is Scottish and had no problem with the ielts but failed on speaking with the Pearson

Have you tried the ielts test ?

Also if you have lived out of the country for 10 years you will need a police check from that country x

Hi we have been here six months now and we know how you feel, but I have now got a fabby job (we are in Perth) mo oh had to go back to being an apprentice but if we lived in any other state that would not happen, but he has his final exams in 3 weeks so everything crossed, but like everyone else I'd tell your hubby to hang on in there, all the best xx

My partner was applying for his 189 visa and me as his partner, because we are not married we to prove we had lived together for two years we had to show photos, utility bills and bank statements, not joint accounts but that we both lived at the same address, hope this helps x

Well I'm sorry Quoll I think I answered this lady's question, and our agent has 30 years experience in migration issues and if we had any medical questions they were answered for us at no extra cost as well as what we had to do to get medical records and police checks from Spain !!!!!!

We love it I have a super job as hotel receptionist right on the beach and my other half is just finishing up his wa grade a licence (we are in Perth) we were from Edinburgh so we used overseas emigration services, graham street xx

Our agent fees were £2500, we moved here in February this year, I hope it wouldn't change if you had any extra issues a good agent would know everything xx

We moved to Perth February of this year on a 189 visa (my partner is an electrician) yes it's been difficult sometimes but wherever you moved would be, my other half is just about about to gain his wa grade a electricians licence and I have a fabby job as a hotel receptionist on the beach, it's better that we were hoping for xxxxx

The advise as above, for us we love it, yes it has been difficult but we are glad we did it x

Hi I used an agent, they were sometimes quite infuriating (I now know it wasn't them but the Australian visa process) but I would recommend using one, they know things we don't x

Listening 9.0, writing 8.0, reading 8.0, speaking 8.0 and the 1st time he took the test he got 6.5 on listening and 9.0 on speaking so it's really hard to work out !!!!!

We do have the six weeks shipping time in writing but they won't answer our calls or emails and I'm not stressing myself over it

Thank you for that, I was beginning to think i had dreamt the six weeks delivery time as people on here kept saying no shipping company would promise this turnaround '!!!!!!anyway we had more stuff flown out on weds, it was cheaper too and that is here already and as above only the customs fee to pay for

My partner is born and bread British and he said the test centre setting was not appropriate and so he went for his ielts test for the 3rd time and finally passed xx

Yes we are on 189 unsponsored visa so we can live anywhere x
