  1. Hi, My sister-in-law is a chef with 10yr experience. Most of documents are ready for skills assessment however we want to know the process to get this done. Any advise would help. Thank you.
  2. Thank you all for your responses.
  3. Hi all, just wanting to get some advise for my friend. What is the current immigration requirement in Australia for children with disability? My friend is wanting to migrate in Australia and one of her son is deaf. He is 7 years old. What are the chances of them getting approved? My friend's qualification is fine. If it wasn't for son's disability they would have applied straight away. Cheers for your input. Thanks,
  4. If you have been granted residency (186 visa) 2 weeks ago then you can apply for citizenship next year. You will need to be at least 4 yrs in Australia (regardless of any visa as long as lawful) and at least 1 yr permanent resident.
  5. Thanks MaggieMay24, if that's the case what's the standard wait time for the ceremony. Just curious. I asked my friend and she was on Normal. Waited 7 months for it. i don't mind the wait but interested to see anyone who had experience on Urgent and what was the wait time. Cheers
  6. Hi all, just curious as what does type of ceremony means? Urgent or Normal? is this something you choose when you apply? Thank you.
  7. yes you will need to for Occupational Therapist. Check border website and look for SOL. From there, find your occupation to see who is your assessing authority.
  8. I have gone through my 100 days, I no longer believe in 3 months, much if you get allocated to NSW.
  9. Another question guys, how would I know if nomination has been approved without contacting HR?
  10. Can anyone tell me how would I know which office/state it is assigned to? Please?
  11. @chintan1885 it should be from date of application in which your IELTS is still valid and not the date they look at your application. I'd be interested to know inputs from others who had the similar experience.
  12. Congrats! Would you know by any chance information they requested for your employer?
  13. We are on similar dates as below - 186 TRT Nomination Lodged: 14th April 2015 Application Lodged: 25th April 2015 Medicals: 15th June 2015 Nomination Approved: waiting Visa Approved: waiting Occupation: IT Hoping to get approved this month :arghh: it's been on application received since.
  14. This isn't true. I am on 457, went overseas for training (5 weeks) and never had any issues coming back. 4 months later, I went to a 6 weeks holiday overseas again and did not have any issues on my entry.
  15. 186 would still require nomination from employer. So either the wife would apply on Direct Entry as she already have the nomination or the husband will speak to his employer to get the nomination done.
  16. There shouldn't be any problem. They are probably confused with 186!
  17. If a person is on bridging visa (application is for permanent residency), will the University accept you as a domestic student or still international student? The course fee if you are an international student is ridiculously expensive and looking on options if have to wait or I can do it now.
