Do you have a bank card? I applied for police check with foreign passport, bank card and utility bill.

@186applicant, In which area of your application did they ask you for evidence of insurance? when you are on 186, you may apply for medicare. Which country you are from?

@Vikki81, Evidence of funds - bank accounts/bank statements Evidence of income - is simply where do the monies in the bank came from (e.g. previous employment, inheritance)

Hey guys, I was reading the 186 Timeline and i'm a little unsure on what's the current timeline. Some had their nomination and visa approved on same month/date and some got their nomination approved in a month then visa a couple of months after. Can anyone tell me when was your nomination lodged and how long before it gets approved? I am not worried about the visa itself for now.

Hi, I'm on 457 visa has recently lodged 186. As part of my 457 visa requirement I needed to have Health Insurance. Now that I lodged 186, I believe I can apply for Medicare. So the question is, when can I cancel health insurance. Can I cancel it now or have to wait until 186 is approved? Thank you very much.

I don't think it's being cheeky, don't get me wrong but I am guessing you are not the first employee that has the same relocation offer from that company. Relocation assistance is a privilege and not every employee with get. Bear in mind that your employer would have different rate than what you were quoted because your employer does not pay upfront, it could be on a 30-day or more account. You may also add the effort that other employee's time spent in organising your relocation.

hey guys, can anyone tell me when would they require me to have my medical done? I am still completing my requirements (police check and IELTS) and will lodge 186 soon. Is it after I lodge the application or wait for the CA to advise?

@MaggieMay24 can you please give more information on that unpaid parental leave for Transition stream? I am a bit lost. I am applying for 186 Transition this month and trying to get pregnant for a year now.
