  1. I agree with Kayleigh. I paid £660 for my one way with Emirates. They're brilliant and well worth the money- free drinks, food, wifi on the plane! I'm staying in jackaroo - $288 for 8 nights inc. breakfast and I booked through booking.com that allowed me to pay when I arrive so it's one less thing to worry about money wise. zx
  2. I stayed away from wake up etc as I felt like it was all party party!! And I'm not really after being kept up all night on a Friday night after a 24 hour flights lol x
  3. Mines 67L I think. I've got the black one but I wanted the ruby one but same as you it'll get scuffed as hell[emoji17]
  4. Hahaha[emoji23] Kayleigh Tripp will employ us!! I was going to get mine off debenhams but they don't give you the 5 year I don't think x
  5. I'm glad I'm not going there alone!! I'm getting a taxi from the airport to the hostel thank god
  6. So it's more cost effective to buy one in Aus? I'm crap at all this haha. I got mine for Christmas, same with my go pro! Butttt I think I want a laptop though maybe when I leave Oz- I've got a Mac now but it's on its last legs
  7. I'm only there for 8 nights so I'm not bothered but if I was staying for longer I'd definitely go to a quieter suburb
  8. If you are wanting abit quieter maybe try Potts point? As Kings X is busy busy I got told
  9. I'm staying in Kings Cross - Jackaroo just because it seemed like a lovely hostel and there is a station next door!! But I guess it's easy enough to walk around anyway
  10. I'm not sure but I'd rather order off their own website then off a third party incase it's **** when it arrives hahaha
  11. You'll have trouble filling it I think, have a look on the Tripp website they have some good ones on there. Are you warrenty off amazon? £70 is a lot to pay if it cracks or breaks without any cover!!
  12. Stacey 83L is loadssss!! How heavy is it? I'd get a smaller L one. The one I've got is 67L and weighs 3.5kg I think
  13. Samsonite are really good!! Hannah Wants (the dj) uses them and she raves about them!! How much is it? I'm sticking to my Tripp - can't wait for it to come[emoji16][emoji16]
  14. Stacey for the plane it might be worth taking a little backpack! I've got a small one and it fits everything in I need!! Hope you have a good weekend, I love Manchester [emoji636]
  15. I agree with you! I am going for a year and I'll experience all weathers so why only bring 1 pairs of jeans and a few tops. It's not like you have river island over there either!! Haha. But i guess if people need to buy new clothes anyway then it makes sense to get them over there!! The majority of my stuff I buy and keep for a few years anyway.
  16. Do they do go pro stuff cheap? I want a proper stick for my go pro but they're so expensive here! Stacey I'd recommend them they're the best[emoji5]️
  17. I didn't think they'd be cheaper!! If I hadn't of gone on holiday prior to Oz I'd have been buying it as I go out there but I didn't have a choice :-( what's the price different between Oz and here for a tablet!?? - too lazy to look lol
  18. Oh good! Well my rucksack for Thailand was 13kg, my suitcase for Ibiza was 17kg so I'm hoping I can be under 20kg for Australia cos if I use the grey hound that's the weight limit allowed
  19. I wish I could bring like little bits and bobs like photo frames and just little things that hang up and look homely but that's not really doable in a hostel. Guess it'll just be a few pictures printed out lol!!
  20. See the majority of my stuff is new from going to Thailand in June and then Ibiza in August- so it's stuff that I don't wanna leave behind! I can't believe you took so little! I'm glad you mentioned the hairdryer situation!! Mine is so heavy so it'll be best to buy one out there- how much is a decent one? And where can you buy things like that? I wish u had an Argos![emoji23] I am bringing my GHDs though I think! And I'm not sure if I'm bringing my Samsung tablet cos I've got a go pro so I'm abit like ?? And I hardly use my tablet here. Not sure whether to bring it or not it's just one more thing to look after.
  21. I agree with you again!! I had one for some camping trip when I was about 11, it wasn't good! I'd never get anything other than a suitcase for travelling around now! Obviously it's personal preference but I love a suitcase, u can lay everything flat and no creased clothes!! I'm a backpacker with a suitcase attitude hahaha
  22. Backpack is no good for me I can't carry much weight on my back although I do second what lebour... Has said, I got a £23 rucksack off eBay for Thailand and it's still completely intacked after a month of lugging it around Asia lol. Kayleigh I think mine will come Thursday or Friday! I hope Thursday cos I'm at a festival all weekend so I won't see it until Monday
  23. I put it up on Facebook and a girl said that she's had 2 and they've been great for 2 years so far!! They wouldn't have a 5 year gar if they was rubbish. Especially if you paid £140! You'd be well annoyed[emoji23][emoji23] I'll be fuming if it's crap[emoji379]
  24. [emoji23][emoji23] I'm glad you posted it!! A girl I know got a Tripp one for her trip to New York but I didn't realise how expensive they was[emoji85]
