Yay!!! I'm glad it was good. I only wheeled mine around on the carpet but it seemed to move easily! In other news....10 days!!! Eeeeeek

I had one for Thailand as you know and it was AWFUL!!! And when I had a backpack with wheels that was the same, I couldn't carry it. Stacey I presume this osprey will have like wheel covers or something!!

Mines the same. Definitely made the right choice, if I ever see a backpack again it'll be too soon!! They're weird though cos it looks really small but it's quite deep? Strange hahaha xx

I need to ring Go walkabout and see what they say. In the UK we are covered by national health insurance, basically free care. If we need an ambulance and stuff we just get it for free. What happens if I don't get travel insurance and I break my arm and need surgery?? I'm not covered by Medicare am I? I don't have thousands spare lol. It's mainly for "what if I die", my parents don't have the money spare to ship me home

I can assure you today as been extremely stressful for me!! First with transferring money and now with the insurance lark

It's beyond a joke. Judging from my Facebook post a lot of people have got told by alpha they are covered and stuff like that when really I don't think they are, I just think it's alpha and their workers getting money and hoping the people they sell to don't claim so they don't realise!!

I've Spoke to Stacey - she thinks that her friend got it through alpha and only had a dentist appointment booked for like a year in advance. My point is that if I claimed, and then they paid out and they then said we want proof you've come back else we want the money back, obviously I'm not coming back so then it'd be void? I'm wondering if anyone has had any experience with "lying" regarding travel insurance but then having to claim - have they wanted proof when u get home that you are home? Sorry for the long winded post but I hate travel insurance!! Why isn't it easier lol

So update on my suitcase!!! I've more or less packed, just got the usual things to go in last min- pair of shoes jeans underwear hairdryer straighteners etc!! Its so light and I'm so glad I got it. Definitely the correct choice!! Even if I had to lugg it up a mountain I'm sure I'd survive with it ;-) I'm taking my backpack to a festival this weekend and I never want to see it ever again!!! Lol. Stacey I'm surprised!!

So I've been looking at getting some travel insurance. Alpha said that they could insure me for long stay (a year) if I had proof that I was coming back home. This was either; that I had a mortgage, I was having an operation of some sort, that I had a car/hire car agreement or that I had a place confirmed at a college or university that meant I had to return. Obviously I have none of these - she said that literally just saying and taking my word for it that wasn't enough. She said she could offer me a policy but in the event that I needed to claim without proof of return it was practically a waste of money and the claim would be void. I was on hold for a long time waiting to speak to somebody and lost patience!! Has anyone got insurance for a year that isn't over £150? That covers one way?! Thank you x

Started off in Bangkok, then Phuket, Phi Phi, krabi, Koh lanta and then back to Phuket for a few nights then we flew back to Bangkok and then home!! I love Thailand. Where are you going?? The majority of my clothes are for summer/spring! Even for here I don't own many winter clothes hahaha xx

I'm taking summer stuff, 2 pairs of jeans, flip flops, one jumper, a very thin coat, a waterproof Mac, tops; going out, day ones and then just casual ones/vest type tops, just all year round stuff!! I've more or less packed my case and I can fit loads more in! Shoes I'm taking high top converse, flip flops, strappy shoes, 1 pair of toms, another pair of converse I'll wear going, and some trainers I don't mind getting wrecked doing farm work or whatever!! I've put my clothes in one half and my shoes in the other half!! I've put my new white shoes in a handbag dust bag[emoji85] they're brand new so I want no marks hahaha x

My suitcase has come today so I've put everything that's new in obviously I'm not leaving that behind :-) the majority of my stuff is brand new lol, I got a whole new loads of stuff jeans tops etc before I went to Thailand

I'm wanting to find farm work within that week and then get my 88 days done before Christmas as me and my friend have booked Bali for 14 nights from the 23rd December! After that we plan to get a camper van and travel the east coast

Going to Sydney for 8 nights!! Meeting two friends who are in the same room as me in the hostel yeah I've opened it with commonwealth! I had that done months ago haha I've been transferring money into it

My case has been despatched - Kayleigh has yours?? I presume it'll be with me tomorrow. Let the packing commence[emoji52]

I'll ring them first thing. My brother wants to know as well what they say!! Are you looking forward to Manchester? I'm hoping it doesn't chuck it down all weekend as I'm at a festival[emoji16][emoji85]
