Hi tech123, which city r u from? I'm from Mel and I received an email with my Client ID and an URL to access to citizenship appointment schedule (timetable), then I can refresh and change my test date.

I applied 16 Apr night and paid and received an ack letter. Firstly received test date email last Thur, 1010pm, scheduled in 14 Sept. Then, refresh timetable everyday. This afternoon, moved to 12 Sep and about 40 minutes ago, refreshed again then changed to 30 June.

Hey NSJ, just let you know, I received my test appointment email last Thursday, out of business hours, 10:10pm AEST I think they just confirm which applicants can receive email then put us into an emailing waiting list, then system automatically send us by numeric sequence?

Final Update: The second refresh completed: 30 June....10 days remaining....

Hi all, Update: I have refreshed Citizenship appointment date to 12 Sep, 2 days earlier than original schedule. I will keep refreshing...

Sheila, it was out of business time, very strange. But I check it on the official Citizenship appointment page, my client ID and information is existing. Interesting... Or I guess, they reviewed my case and arrange mine to a emailing list then automatically sends to me whenever reach me.

Update my info: Date applied : 16/04/2017 City/Council area: City of Banyule (I live in Macleod, this suburb is managed by both City of Banyule and City of Darebin, I actually not sure which council I belong to, Banyule may be right one) Online / Paper : Online Date Test Invitation arrived: 15 June 22:10 AEST (Tonight) Date of the Citizenship Test: 14/09/2017 (first change tried, all rest of June, July and August are occupied; otherwise, keep 14 Sep or 15 Sep) Date received Approval Letter: Still waiting... Date Ceremony invitation received: Still waiting... Date of ceremony: Still waiting... Type of ceremony (Urgent/Normal): Normal

I think so. Ps, from another forum (Chinese forum) someone told me that his friend online applied 11 Apr and just received test email few days ago (early-Jun). He thought mine is coming soon.

Aha... applied 16 Apr and received ack letter. Payment debited 18 Apr. It's 60th day today. 2 mths or 8wks + 4 days.

Yes, phone call cannot accelerate processing. My Mel friends told me: In Mel, wait 4 around 10 mths is normal. 2 mths to wait 4 a test notification is minimum. Y I move Mel from Perth, before getting a citizenship. It's said, processing in Perth is shorter than Mel....

Still worry about it. Predict get email within next week, 8th week. Otherwise, I'll call them.

But I am not sure if new policy and immigration department staff cuts influence my case and increase waiting time? This week is seventh week from 16 Apr.
