I mentioned an unbelievable fact: all enquiry calls only get one sentence: Pls be PATIENT until 14 mths, then you can call us again.

I think we will fully wait for 14 mths to get certificate of citizenship. Current situation is so unexpected and unfair. Someone applied during Oct to Dec 2017, got approval letter soon, but we April guys still waiting 4 that piece of paper.

Happy New Year, Eddie! I am always expecting to get ceremony invitation straightaway without the approval letter. Just expecting it, better than stressfully waiting for the approval letter.

I sat my test in 22 Jun, today is the first day of the 25th week, 169th day after test. Hope I can get letter soon. Thx~

@Ali W G'day Ali, may I ask you: 'Status' means the Immi Account? So it updated and we can know update for each stage of processing, Right?

@Sheila I think so. But if IMMI status will be changed to 'Approved' ( possible?) by 15 Dec, does Aus Postal service operate 15~23 Dec? Not sure, just pray and hope.

@Eddie0719 Depending on my experience and surrounding cases, from last year SYD and PER is always faster than MEL. But not sure why SYD be slower.

I just found an info from a Chinese aussie forum: an applicant lodged in this Oct and did test recently, the interviewer said: cuz you submitted all required documents, you may receive your letter before this Xmas. Why he said like that? My interviewer told me in June: Pls ba patient your letter may be issued in a period of 4 mths.

I am not sure, but it should also be checked via Immi account, I just guess once your paper application been processing, DIBP will update your Immi status.

CRS just told me: check your Immi account, if it shows Finalised means approved otherwise still being processing.

I called DIBP 10 mins ago, so fast get representative's response, but also fast ended phone call: you can check your status Finalised or not via Immi Account. We cannot tell you about process of your application over phone. 'So excellent' answer. Today's also the End of Nov., so called 'expected finally approval letter of all before 20 Apr created' ? But the reality is that recently you guys shared other applications info that later than 20 Apr have been approved on the same day or just a short term waiting. I think the so called 'random process' without a timeline sequence is unfair for us who are waiting too long time.

@Sheila Today's mail dispatch excluded any of mine.....will be contacting them from next Tuesday. But, do we still wait for last week of Nov, I mean we can contact them after the first week of Dec (give time to postal service)

Hi @Eddie0719 The so called 'Proposed Timeline' for applications before 24 Apr are expected to be finalised before December. But real situation may later than this timeline, but I still positively expect to be approved and can receive by end of this year (bf Xmas). Pls be PATIENT and POSITIVELY WAITING
