Just like last mth, I need to get an overseas notarisation docu to post to my grandma... the CHN Consultant-General in Mel requires that 'For Chinese in OZ with a PR Visa must to get a VEVO letter to show your current PR Visa Status, and must within the three days prior to come here to apply for an overseas notarisation. Really feel heart-tired and wanna cry~~~

Hi Nemesis, actually, according to the Chinese policy on foreign affairs, someone's current Chinese passport's expiration date less than 6 mth, if I need to renew passport, a proof document from DIBP is required to show me not an Aussie or not applying for or waiting an Aussie Citizenship. So, my current CHN passport is now only used for a Photo ID not for a travel docu....

Ta, Sheila. Rest of ceremonies this year are 17 Sep OZ Citizen Day and 8 Nov, otherwise will wait for Aussie Day 2018. Aha~~~

Aha~ my current passport has actually expired (less than 6 mth to expiration date) so I cannot go abroad before whenever getting Oz passport ....

Today's 7th week (49th day) after test done... hf mth ago, I knew someone in Syd who did test 21 Jun and received Approval letter during Mid-Jul.

arriving time doesn't matter, so 23 June to 19 July, 26 days, appx. 4weeks. Today is the 34 days, 5 weeks after.

The invitation letter comes from the local council, once DIBP approved our applications then pass our info to local council.

Sheila, first step it to wait for an invitation letter from local council and check the ceremony date, then we are able to contact local council to change date earlier or later. We can do nothing before receiving this letter.

Hi guys, I have completed test with a 100% full mark. Next is to wait couple of weeks to receive the approval letter and an average waiting time for a ceremony is a four-months.

let me explain to u step by step: 1. Received 1st email, last Thursday night 2210, scheduled 14 Sep 2. Then I refreshed date time everyday 3. This Tuesday, 20 Jun, arvo to night, 3 times refresh: 12 Sep, 30 Jun and 22 Jun 4. Refresh completed
