Thanks, but I’ve contacted the (registered) migration agent that assisted me, and have been assured the following. Feel free to prove your suspicions on my motives I have not heard of any SC190 visas being cancelled due to not living/working in the state that sponsors them. I also doubt this is the case as your visa (SC190) has no conditions on it that restrict you in any way. In order for a visa to be cancelled under 'Subdivision C - Visas based on incorrect information may be cancelled ' the information used to complete the application would need to be proven to be incorrect at that time. This was not the case for you.

No, I didn’t. At the time my agent said that it was not a condition of the visa, so didn’t bother.

I have been living in Australia for nearly 3 years, but not in the state which sponsored my 190. I found a job by chance in another state while initially living with relatives when I arrived. The job was basically perfect, right by relatives. Since I have gone over the 2 year stay in the sponsoring state, would I also be subject to potential revocation of my visa?

Hey Raul I've been in AU for 3 years now, home owner for two of those. I don't live in my sponsored state, as I found a job near immediately when I first came over while staying with some family. I realise you cannot grunter anything, but after 3 years, do you think I'm fairly safe?

Sorry for what seems to be a blunt question, but, why hamstring yourself with such antiquated tech, especially as a young developer? Are you only really interested in working for Financial institutes for the rest of your life?

For these exact reasons (honouring tradition and respecting the Aussie way of life) - i'll be wearing a Tshirt and thongs

Hey guys n gals At the risk of getting spammed, I thought I'd reach out and give any kickass Business Analysts on here a chance to join us on the Sunshine coast QLD. We're really looking for someone very specific - call it an "Agile BA". Someone who has worn a couple different hats before / Technical PM / Scrum Master / Business Systems analyst. We’re looking for someone to hold a laser-focused view of the development process, from ideation through development and delivery to support. We’d love someone who has the breadth of experience to be able to cherry-pick from their arsenal of tools to produce the right outcome based on the teams needs. We need someone who will argue like they're right and listen like they're wrong, all while striving for the best possible business outcome. PM me if that's you.

Hey JH, it sure is a relief being on this side of the fence! 2 years ... wow, it feels like a different person wrote that, and in many respects that is the case! I've never been the most thorough student, and it also applied to my PTE preparation, it's a character flaw of mine I "knew" my English ability is excellent, therefore I didn't feel the need to do any studying in the strictest sense of the word. I read through the question types' explanation and did the mock tests twice, just so that I understand the question format and what I could expect to happen in the exam. I also re familiarised myself with the general "template" I'd use for the long form essay (Introduction / supporting and secondary point / elaboration / wind down / outtro & conclusion).

We can confirm, that there is a market, as there is IT here in Australia.

Cycling (all forms of it) , is a very sociable sport / activity. I can highly recommend doing exactly that. Go to your local bike shop and ask if they do regular shop rides. You don't need any top of the range bike to get your started and you'll find your social circle growing quickly.

With your financial situation and health issues, I guess this is a bit of a redundant question … but, are you getting out on the MX bike at all? I’ve not had nearly the same run of bad luck as you, but I know what it is to feel lonely and empty, even though I had a girlfriend (who then became my wife) at the time. See, I was mortally unhappy in the UK, until I was able to find something that made me happy. In my case it was Downhill mountain bike riding / racing, and I made the best mates I could have asked for through it. Many of these mates also rode crossers… so I know the kind of people you meet in those circles. Find something that makes you happy, preferably a hobby shared with others … and the rest will fall into place

My wife would most likely like to meet up during the daytime with any other ladies on here. We're newish here in the Sunny coast (8 months). We live in Brightwater and kid goes to Brightwater school. Matthew Flinders is supposedly a great school @Jocelyn Scully , all the big bosses at work send their kids there

Thanks It's an Aussie Metalcore Band from Byron bay - called Parkway Drive. They've made it big, but tend to stick to their roots, and like to tour smaller communities

Back to the forum and more determined this time.

Outdoorsy you say? Very small snippet of random shenans of my family and I. So much free stuff to do ... the above is only scratching the surface of what we've been up to ... kicking myself for not always having my GoPro on me.
