  1. Hey everyone, After a while nervously waiting we have finally been granted Very happy and cannot wait to go their early in the New Year Melbourne here we come!
  2. Hi Guys, Just recieved a response from DIBP - they have requested some further documents. Evidence of Employment - I have references from all my previous employers, CV and payslips. Any ideas what I could provide further? Birth Certificate - My other half's country doesn't provide certificates at birth so we don't have one. Provided the passport scanned, but this is rejected - all we have otherwise is her National ID card - do you think that would work? Thanks.
  3. Hey, anymore grants from the July applications, we are hoping to hear shortly as reaching 8 weeks this week. Everything crossed!
  4. Hey, as far as I know, they process until they can come up with a descision or need further information. If you need to provide a document or such, they put you to the bottom of their current active pile, which could be a few cases. But in most cases I have seen it appears to be about 4 weeks before you hear anything.
  5. Hi, You most certainally do. Before any skilled migration you need a full skills assessemnet by a relevant authority. HTH
  6. Quick one - what date have you been given on your visa as first entry? Just looking at timings here. Thanks
  7. I've provided references for my current job and previous two. Do you reckon that would cover off the payslip requirement?
  8. Certainly looks like the site isn't 100% correct on the current processing visas. Gives me hope will be done in the next couple of weeks
  9. I wonder if the delay is to do with July. I believe DIBP held onto some from June and July as the allocation resets sometime in July. I guess we will be waiting another 3-4 weeks.. ?
  10. Yeah I guess we might have some time to wait yet... Ill be 6 weeks on the 21st - the wait is a killer!
  11. Thanks for the really good info. Fingers crossed!
  12. Haven't heard about he allocations, were all the applications on hold? Just to note, the 190 visa is 3rd on the list of priority visa's so I would hope it won't be too much longer
  13. Hey, Has anyone had a case officer assigned for the 190 visa? Applied early July haven't heard anything yet. Cheers
  14. Thanks for the advise, certainally worth giving a go. This forum is brilliant really helpful. Thanks.
  15. Nope just drops us under the threshold, Needing 5 more points. Will do my English Test again to gain the extra points as only previously got 10 points were I can get 20 putting me over. At least I know what points I will get now 100% just need the increase in language and I should be done. Does anyone know if I would have to do my Medical again?

  17. My Skills Assessment states: Your skills have been assessed to be suitable for migration under 263111 (Computer Network and Systems Engineer) of the ANZSCO Code.
  18. Hey, I applied for a 190 visa, after getting nominated by Victoria. I have just recieved my rejection due to me getting 5 points rather than 15... their reasons were that I do not have a degree and therefore 5 years of my work experience is invalid...? I am applying for a 263111 Computer Network and Systems Engineer, and cannot understand the rejection. Does anyone else have experience of this? Thanks Colin
  19. Hi Lamb62. Many thanks for the info Really handy to hear for your perspective, hope we can hear something July then
