Ours is 10th Feb so 9 months on 19th Nov same as you we don't want to go close to Xmas but we are hoping to leave 13th Nov going to book last minute. I am keeping eye on approvals have only seen 1 Jan approval so far and that was postal. As soon as I see approvals for mid Jan we are going to give notice and then wait at a friends if it goes over the 9 months. Hopefully it will be sooner

Ours was Feb 10th so waiting for more Jan approvals so we can get excited!

Only pain with bubs was going into london with a new born to get passport as london is NOT pram friendly.

We are almost exactly the same as you except hubby English and im the aussie. Bubs was born just before we put our visa in. His citizen paperwork and passport where very simple and took under 4 weeks to have both. Hubbys is the nightmare we are at 7.5 months waiting now. Apply asap as now they are saying 14 months waiting period. They will tell you when to do medical and like above wait until after baby. But no issue really.

Our CO emailed asking if we wanted to leave before the date ours expires in Jan. If not she asked that we let her know we where intending on applying for another one.

That is a long wait hope something will change and the immi system will improve the times as it was promised to when put in place.

After you get the grant email how soon can you fly? Is it that day or do you have to do anything else paperwork wise?
