Hey guys DEPENDENCY - The date my father lodged this visa, i was 17 yrs old and on this September ( 2014 ) im turning 19 yrs old. As per the visa criteria, a dependent should be under 18 years old. My question is, What age is considered for dependency? the age when i applied for visa or the age when my visa is verified by the case officer ?. At the same time I would also like to know the factors which can do to prove my dependency on my parents ? I may also inform you that lst year i took admission in BA part !, under the correspondence course scheme conducted by the university. Pls suggest me the evidence i can show to prove it to my case officer and how detailed i have to fill dependency questionaire. cheers rich

hey priya From all the information i got from various immi sites, it take around 1 week to receive the pre grant letter and 2nd VAC request after everything is done. You would only get 2nd vac payment request once your visa is finalized, so i think tht means when co goes through all the paperwork once everything is received.I'm sure someone will correct me if im wrong. ps- dont get worried about the silence lol , your co will soon get to you and tell you to pack your bags regards, Richard

UPDATE FOR CPV143 :- March 2013 Applications are being processed now. Applications of march 1- march19 (2013) will be processed this month and Case officers will be allotted accordingly. Rest of the applications of march 2013 will be processed next month. ............................ MY LODGEMENT DATE IS MARCH 18..so hopefully , ill get my co in sept end or first week of octuber. Finally the long wait is gonna be over. :')

i meant no offence mate, but im in a bit of struggle here. This visa is everything to my family and specially me. My two years have been wasted cuz of this visa.I would really appreciate if u can help me out.

I have read through some forums related to aus immi that applicants before us, have already applied for it. I heard it takes a month to get AOS done ..is that true ? Please share any information about AOS, we would really appreciate. 2. As we are in the last stages, it is really tough to wait as there is mixture of excitement,curiosity and worry. So please tell how much more time it will take for case office allotment? Respectfully, Richard coulls

guys this is a very important question ...i think my dads visa is at stake ( cpv 143 ). i added my little bro in my dads application ..he was 17 yrs old when the file was lodged ( march,2013) and now hes 18 yrs old and we r almost a week away from allotment of case officer. MY question - is there a chance of rejection as my bro turned 18 ? guys pls help me out on this . This visa means alot to me...my dad is alone and hes 66 yrs old. regards jenny

guys my acknowledgement date is april 12 ..so any guess how time it would take to get co assigned ? the wait is killing me lol

Thnx for your reply mate. My acknowledgement date was april 12 ...so i guess, it means another 2 months wait and my question of aos letter is still unanswered. if anyone knws about the aos process pls let me know, i would really appreciate. cheers

Hey guys, i have finally completed my medicals and pcc , everything done and clear. Now my next step is of Aos- i already sent my daughter all details ..but im not getting the aos letter part ? do we get a letter from pvc or we can write our own to declare assurer ? and can anyone tell me , where pvc have reached with their applications ? i just cant wait anymore aha.
