    Dependency (over18)

Hey guys There is a small issue that has been stressing me out for a long time.I applied CPV 143 in april2013 and we just got our CO.Everything is fine with my documents(PCC,medical and other stuff) and even my son is fully dependent on me. CO asked for proof of dependency for my son and asked to complete a dependency questionnaire and 47A form.My son was 17yo( now 19 ) when i applied for the visa, i was certainly not expecting this. What i gave for proof- 1.My son is doing distance education, so i gave them enrollment letter and payment reciept. 2.My son went to my daughter for a visit in 2013- i gave them receipt of airline tickets paid by me. 3.Proof of residence-His(son) letters stating my house address. Is that should be fine ? or should i have given more? I would really appreciate if u guys can help me out.
  2. Hey guys DEPENDENCY - The date my father lodged this visa, i was 17 yrs old and on this September ( 2014 ) im turning 19 yrs old. As per the visa criteria, a dependent should be under 18 years old. My question is, What age is considered for dependency? the age when i applied for visa or the age when my visa is verified by the case officer ?. At the same time I would also like to know the factors which can do to prove my dependency on my parents ? I may also inform you that lst year i took admission in BA part !, under the correspondence course scheme conducted by the university. Pls suggest me the evidence i can show to prove it to my case officer and how detailed i have to fill dependency questionaire. cheers rich

    190 Visa lodged with dependents

Hi I am starting a new thread to see if someone could help me understand my situation regarding dependents. I have lodged my 190 visa this month and am looking for some advice on various visa outcomes. I am the primary applicant and have included my wife. Since, I've lost my father 8 years ago, my mother, brother and sister are solely dependent on me for everything. My brother has recently managed to secure a job and hence I have not included him on my application. I have included my mother who is a home-maker and my sister (19 years) who is currently studying. I have got all the medicals and character evidence positive and ready for all of us. What could be the outcome if DIBP is not satisfied with the mother/sister dependency part of my application ?

    Evidence of dependency ???

I've just submitted an online application for a permanent visa , i printed off the document checklist but i didn't look at the message beside each piece of evidence that needs to be attached ... birth certificates etc . So i don't know what the "evidence of dependency" is :goofy:, can anyone help please ? Thanks Ed
  5. We have just lodged our visa application in Melbourne today for the ENS 856 visa. My wife is being sponsored, and our 19 year old daughter is over here with us. We are currently on a 457 visa. Our daughter is totally dependent on us for all her needs, clothing food transport etc. She plans to go to university here once we have PR. My question is.... if she is totally dependent on us, how do we prove it? We are currently renting, she is not on the lease. The bills are all in my name or my wife. She has a bank account and we have a joint (family) medicare ambulance cover card. Apart from that, I have a bank account that groans every time she needs new clothes or something, but I do not seperate the money I spend on her from that which my wife and I spend. I just know that DIAC will ask for more proof of dependency Does anyone have any ideas?
  6. CO has asked for more info to confirm my sons dependency. So pleased we have a CO.! Tips to prove depedency would be good, please help. Best wishes Chris
  7. Hello All I was hoping someone could advise me on what I need to provide for "Evidence of Dependency" My husband is the applicant on a 175 visa and myself and my children from a previous relationship are dependents. On his list of documents it says "Evidence of Dependency", there is nothing on mine or the childrens list. Can anyone suggest what we need to do ... I have looked on the DIAC but the booklet seems to cover a Partner visa. Many Thanks in advance Jen x
