Thanks, hope so! Was your application decision ready? Was thinking that with medical and police clearances only lasting for 1 year we would wait 6 months or so, in order for it to be decision ready when a case officer picks it up in 10-15 months time.

Thanks From a quick look around on the net it looks like we might be able to grab up to a month and will cost $145 (up from $140 July 1) but if anyone has any first hand experience please do pipe up? As would be great to know how and what compelling reasons we need to present etc.. Cheers

Does anyone know how much time you can request on BVB? My partners bridging visa A comes into affect from mid July and we would like to visit Brazil to see her family over Christmas and New Year

Had another quick question myself.... Can you get the bridging visa with the main application put through or do you need the separate sponsor bit done too (40SP)? Cheers

Nice! I did one for my PR not all that long ago so i guess should be all that difficult to ammend, my partners one might be a ballache though!!

Looking to put in for my partners sometime in next month or so. Shes on a student visa at the moment so will be able to work fulltime on the bridging when she completes her course, looks a bloody long wait though!

I applied for Citizenship in Feb but wouldnt be eligible under the new thing until 2019 Fingers crossed it is only for new applications!!

Called them 4-5 times to try and get an earlier appointment, zero luck so far

My bad was actually 6th June!!! 1st call in to reshedule, had to wait 1 hour for callback as they where busy and no gaps sooner. Have to keep trying

They just emailed me with a test appointment on 2nd June, will start pestering them for a sooner one!!!!

Thanks! Will try that for sure, get a rostered day off per month at my job so hopefully I can grab one in March. Well thats the plan to reschedule then but sounds from what people are saying lately that is pretty tight with these appointments. From whats going on with everyone else looks like they will probably come to me in 2 weeks or so with a date in April/May.
