  1. Hi Kim, not that they have informed us, when should we have been given a HAP no, we have been told once the case officer has been allocated we get these, I have chased up MA regards AOS....Thanks for the reply, Alan
  2. Hi Julie, We have done police checks, but informed by our MA that we have to wait to get medicals done after being allocated a case officer. Thanks Alan
  3. Evening all, We lodged our 143 Parent Visa with an acknowledgement date of 30th May 2014. We were initially led to believe the process would take 18 -24 months, from start to arriving in Oz. However, we are still awaiting a case officer to be allocated, which, given we had hoped to be in Perth around Jan/Feb, is beginning to wear us both down. Can anyone who has completed the process, give a rough indiction of how quick the process could go, once a case officer is allocated please? For the last couple of weeks, we are only getting a message saying they are working 1st April cases.
  4. Thanks Carob, we appreciate you taking the time to reply. Can I ask what HAP numbers are? And also what you had for lunch!
  5. Hi, good luck with your 143 visa, we have just lodged ours, can I ask what the medicals actually consist of please?
  6. We have just had confirmation that our 143 initial payment has been taken by the Australian Governemnt, but with the tax receipt the following message was included. "The accompanying email advises: "Due to the high volume of applications received, we are currently taking approximately 4 months to register an application and send the acknowledgement letter. The formal acknowledgement of the application will be sent as soon as possible. As applications are considered based on the lodgement date, the delay in registering the application will not affect the processing time for a decision on the application."
  7. Thanks, no rush to sell as yet. as looking at 143 Parent Visa which I believe is a slow process. But sooner we sell, the more we can save before we arrive.
  8. [h=2]UK Property Swap?[/h] Hi, just a long shot but we have just put our home on the market, and was wondering if there are any families returning to UK looking to buy a home, and maybe with a property to sell in Perth. Ours is listed here http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-...?premiumA=true As I said, it's a long shot, and not sure how/if this can work, but what have we to lose by asking? Maybe just a family looking to buy as an exchange is not critical.
